we've been fairly poor for the past month... Crewe away aside, and yet somehow we're still in the 'best of the rest' spot... you lot really are a shower of shite.

Need to win our games in hand or it counts for nothing, but a very good day today.

League One no doubt looking at this and wondering if they should just bolt the door after this season's promotion relegation. Anyone who is unable to get promoted from this season's League Two doesn't deserve to play at a higher level than that ever again.
It is a poor league this year, thought last year's was stronger. Only Orient, yourselves (second half), Swindon only ones who've left me thinking they were any good.

Yeah, we all say that every season, but it’s stark this time round. Agree about Orient and, unfortunately, Salford looked decent. I suppose it means that a good window and a decent run could still catapult one of quite a few clubs into the autos/POs.

First half of last season I thought Leyton Orient were excellant at our place and Swindon good. The only sides other than that ( later on in the season ) were the other teams we were promoted with. We still can't beat Forest Green though. So it is not surprising both Leyton Orient & Swindon are up there this season.

Great win for the Orient with a makeshift backline, cracking finish from Theo, Doncaster huffed and puffed but I don't think they had a shot on target.
Three more points brings us to 56, 17 points clear of 4th, lovely stuff.
Insane monsoon storm and swarm of parakeets in the second half was pretty atmospheric too.

Christ, what is it with you lot? Always look good but you self destruct often and easily. Surely Clough can’t keep getting away with overseeing such stuff.

Two wins for Colchester and they're out of immediate danger, does mean more teams getting pulled in mind. Anyone below Grimsby in slight bother. Us, Gills, Dale in it deep. We've got both to play plus Col U by end of the month. Serious pressure on these games like.

Seems we only ever win at Field Mill and they only win here.

A point is more than I expected today, though sounds like Doohan gifted Sutton that. Apprehensive about the window, as we’ll sell a couple of our better players, bring in a forward and loan one or two more. The squad is paper thin already..

Ross "What's He" Doohan had a game to forget, gifting Sutton two goals. Especially the second, which is a guaranteed 99/100 save for an eleven year old. He failed to gift them the winner in stoppage time after flapping at a cross, only thanks to it being cleared off the line. The more I watch us this season, I'm increasingly convinced that, whilst we are short of personnel going forward, we don't have any sort of game plan beyond passing it sideways, aimlessly dinking forward and generally trying to reach the hour mark at 0-0. Once that fails, we have no idea what to do. Sutton were decidedly mediocre but still nearly won it at the end.

We cannot defend, majority of fanbase started the season thinking we are woefully weak in defence but the management disagreed. They know the mistake now.

when you end a match with a back 3 including Bowery and Hawkins that shows you really are short in defence

What a result that was for ourselves, we didn't play that well I thought and lacked a bit of belief in front of goal, but considering the problems we've had with our centre backs since Monday and to play with a half fit make shift partnership, that was a superb effort from our squad.

Chances were few and far between in the game, took a Theo Archibald wonder strike to break the deadlock - we scored during a 10-15min spell when we was putting Doncaster under alot of pressure so was good to capitalise.

Doncaster were a work in progress I thought, they had a go at us in the first half - not many teams have done that this season, but their final ball was lacking. Can see what Scholfield is trying to do, but don't think he quite has the players for it yet.

Second half Wellens changed our shape to match theirs, we improved and I thought controlled game and managed it well - especially when it started to pour down and the pitch started to get heavy.

The only real difference between the two sides was the goal, good enough to win any game reat

Agreed, harsh on you lads to travel back with nothing to show for it.

Hell of a strike though - honestly can't wait for our 'goal of the season' contenders because we have scored some absolute beauties this season.

What did he do wrong for the first? Doesn’t look like anything from the video I’ve seen. Did he gift possession in the first place as replay didn’t go back that far?

Whilst a one on one, the shot was straight at him, he was down in time to stop it and somehow lets it through his body. The angle from behind the goal would show it clearly. Nice passing move for the goal, calling it a gift admittedly doesn't take that into account, but Doohan should have done better once he'd done the hard work and put himself into the position to make the save.

Think that’s really harsh on him. Struck from penalty spot reasonably well and he was on edge of 6 yard box. It would have been a fantastic save.

Thought it was the right result tbh. Very reminiscent of the Walsall match; both sides pressed us in the first half and had the better of the few half-chances. We had to earn the right to play and did so in the second half. Great effort from Donny but not enough quality in the final third. Eking out the 3 points in a close game makes up for the match at the Keepmoat where we should have won by five or six.

Three wins in the last four and a few positive early signings in the window too. Sounds as though we may have turned a corner if we can get a few more results from the forthcoming Rochdale, Gillingham and Hartlepool games this month.

Considering the absolute fucking state of the division this year you’ve probably got half a chance of being this year’s notloB/Gas.

First one looked offside to most of us sitting level with it but when you get what appears to be a 60 year old, totally out of shape , Captain Birdseye lookalike running the line constantly yards behind the play and gasping for breathe every time he has to run more than 5 yards it`s hardly surprising it given. That's the second one this season by that guy. Do the FA actually have an age limit or fitness tests for officials anymore?
