preston away - 3-1, loss, we will lose there
reading home - 2-2, score draw
ipswich away - 2-0, too strong for us

Preston (A) - Lose
Reading (A) - Draw
Burnley (H) - Lose. We always lose to these without fail. We could be brushing teams aside, and we'd still lose to the clowns.
MK Dons (A) - Draw

2 points, and that's being optimistic.

Birmingham (A) - 1-1 Draw. Think we'll scrape one here, hopefully a couple of signings making their debut.
PNE (A) - 1-0 Loss. Probably Cunningham who scores it to be honest.
Reading (H) - 2-2 Draw. Same old story, dominate the game, but concede two scrappy goals either from set-plays or on the break.
Ipswich (A) - 3-0 Loss. They'll be too much for us.

Nice easy month. Middlesbrough & Burnley away followed by Leeds & Derby at home. 1 point from that lot to avoid dropping into the bottom three.

For a bit of light relief, we entertain Southampton in the Capital One Cup. Our squad players to get trounced by their squad players.

Fulham (A) - 1-0 loss. Another typical poor away performance.
QPR (A) - 1-1 draw. Rhodes scores after 85 mins.
Charlton (H) - 2-1 win. We can't go forever without winning.
Hull (A) - 2-0 loss. One of those 2-0 away losses you always get.

4/12 points taking us to 7, in the bottom 3 but Bowyer remains.

Brentford (H) - Hopeful we can get the 3...probably a good time to play them. (3)
Ipswich (H) - Tricky game. Maybe a score draw but could go any which way. (1)
MK Dons (A) - Could do with winning this with a tricky away game at Boro following. (3)
Middlesbrough (A) - Unbeaten run potentially coming to an end here. (0)

That would be solid. Might have been overconfident though.

Birmingham (A) - Fancy them as dark horses tbh, would definitely take a draw. 1-1
Preston (A) - A tightly contested game like back in April. 1-1
Reading (H) - Sound like us a bit, in that results belying performances. Way we've played though, home win's got to come sooner or later. Win 2-1
Ipswich (A) Did win at Boro but can't be expecting anything from this. Lose 2-0

5 points, and that's being pretty optimistic. Games don't get any easier.

Was tempted to say draw/win for Bristol City, but if we get to 8 games unbeaten then we'll surely lose in one of the easier fixtures.

Birmingham (A) - We'll take a few to St Andrews and I reckon we can get a point. 2-2.
Preston (A) - No Beckford I believe so I think we might nick this one but a point would be decent. 1-1.
Reading (H) - Should be a decent game and our lack of finishing prowess is a concern. We are playing well though and I can see a home win. 3-1.
Ipswich (A) Too strong for our teeny squad plus we always lose at Portman Rd. Home win. 2-0.

5 points would be a good return tbh but I have a sneaky feeling we might win at Deepdale as well.

We've literally given the opposition a combined 4 shots on target in our last 4 games. By far the best team in the league at not giving shooting opportunities.

If we have McShane and Ferdinand at the back for that game, you won't score more than 1.

Looks like this season I won't have to worry about the opposition scoring many, just whether we can take any of our chances. I see us as a lot like Sheffield Wednesday last season. Think they had a pretty dreadful home record too.

Bring it on! We had 12 shots on target against Burnley's Premier league defence on Saturday.
We are actually playing some great stuff just haven't been able to finish so I see no reason why you are sceptical.
We'll see.

So because you've defended well in your last 4 games you won't concede more than 1 all season?

This league gets weirder and weirder, got fucking Reading thinking they're something now.

:2thumb:

Just don't see a lot from Bristol City that we should be fearful of. Don't think they will score more than 1 past us. A couple of clubs will score a few, our goalie will drop a couple, but i'm very confident in our defence. Hardly saying we will win the league or anything. This team will struggle to finish in the top half as it stands - again almost like Wednesday last season.

At least I have some kind of facts to backup my (bold) opinion.

If our past games away at Bristol City are anything to go by then we will concede more than 1. Probably end up 3-3.

Forest (H) - 1
Blackburn (H) - 3
Hull (A) - 0
Fulham (A) - 1

Will put us on 15 points, should be enough to be around the play offs.

Of course, we could lose Austin, Phillips and a couple of others by tomorrow and I'd be less confident.

Reading (A) - I'm not underestimating Reading - can't see us keeping a clean sheet and not sure we'll outscore them. Lose
Leeds (A)
- I think this could be an entertaining, high scoring game and could go either way. Draw
Birmingham (H)
- Birmingham are currently unbeaten and it's likely they still will be by this game. We'll end it though. Win
Manchester United (A)
- I'm expecting a mix of reserve and first team players, but whatever team we put out it's hard to see us getting anything. Lose
Bristol City (H)
- We've got a good historical record against BC and results so far this season suggest we should win comfortably. Win

Derby H - Win - Hoping we play them just before it clicks and they start dicking everyone.
Bristol City H - Win - Closely contested game that I think we will edge.
Brentford A - Loss - Narrow defeat at a place we don't seem to do well at.
Bournemouth (Cup) H - Win - Hopefully another reserve side we can knock out.
Wolves H - Draw - Probably a shit stalemate.

7pts.
