This match is all about Chris Wilder.

Normally I'd use this first post to offer some valuable insight into the Oxford side, in the hope of improving the matchday experience for our friends in Sheffield. However I'm too bloody focused on Wilder, who all Oxford supporters talk about all the time.

We have a great record against both Sheffield United and Chris Wilder so I am going to go for a 3-0 win.

Sheffield United fans, feel free to post your more northern perspective. Or don't. I'm flying off on my holidays during this game so I'm very unlikely to take much interest.

Wilder beat you twice last season.

Our club is at its lowest ebb and the alarm bells are ringing loud and clear.

Many of our fans have taken to taking the Micky out of the players.
So if you score first it'll feel like Oxford have well over 10,000 fans supporting them because our players will get some real stick. Some of our fans are close to fighting each other in the stands.

The last home game against Southend was very similar to England versus Iceland in the Euros. You could see that the players were nervous wrecks and after conceding 3 (yes THREE) early goals they just wanted to get off the pitch ASAP.

I haven't a clue what the score will be.
Logic says Blades 1 Oxford 2
But we are now well overdue a reaction and a decent performance.

People can believe what they want, I know what I meant with my comment and you have just got a bit touchy over a joke. No need to be so serious!

You're right Shropshire shoe. I totally took your joke too seriously! I just get super mad when people try and imply their team beat Oxford! Lucky I have you here to show everyone how to take a joke and not be serious!

At least everyone's sure you definitely got the joke now. Great posting. Have a great day, Shoe!

Looking forward to this game. I think we might just come away with 3 points here. I don't care much for Wilder, as his football is awful and turgid as i remember it. I would like to think he would get sacked if we win tomorrow afternoon, just to give us all a laugh back down road after the game like.

Seems a bit early for a must win game, but god knows the club needs a home win tomorrow to lift the awful gloom of the last two weeks.

The walking accident in net has been replaced, and as long as O'Connell remembers the basics - he isn't a basketball player, he has less time on the ball than he thinks - then hopefully the rest can put together a team performance.

A home win would be great, a clean sheet a huge bonus.

1-1 going to be a tough game I think and a draw is a good result for Oxford.

Get in there. A much improved last hour after Oxford dominated the 1st half hour but then went all defensive

I don't think we went defensive, I think you just stepped it up and we struggled to cope, you clearly are a decent side, and I think you'll be moving up the table soon, we should be fine but don't look as good as I thought we would.

I thought you took your foot off the gas and let us off the hook you were out playing us until you scored and I was fearing the worst. I was pleased at how we responded though because with recent results it would of been easy to cave in. Our fans weren't too bad there's still the odd few that think constantly booing is actually going to help but on the whole they were ok.
