This should be a good game. Our away form has been very good under Klopp, so hopefully this would be a win as well.
This is our best chance to win a trophy this season considering Manchester City are the only good team left in the competition.

Said it before and I'll say it again, they are nailed on for the EL, nailed on I tells ya!!! ;)

Dunno how So'ton are playing atm but I went for a 2 - 1 Liverpool win in the other thread and I stick by that.

A night game against a team with a fairly vocal away end, add into it the ex Saints on their side in front of a packed home crowd for a chance of a semi final in the cup. St. Mary's should be rocking.

It won't be though as I'm sure there will be plenty of Liverpool plastics living in the Hampshire region who are in the home ends.

We need to change the way we're playing. We stand off teams too much. Wanyama has been fucking wank without Morgan Schneiderlin alongside him, we've lost the high press completely now and it's not a great thing to watch. We can afford to give Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho time on the ball because they will punish us.

It's the biggest game of our season so far and I doubt there will be any bigger unless we manage to draw the Skates in the FA Cup.

Certainly we got as good of a chance as anyone to win it. However, it will be very very difficult considering we are in 4 competitions.

How about your defense? I read Fonte was subbed off in the weekend. In my opinion, Yoshida and Cedric don't look that great. However, Van Dijk is a big threat in set pieces.

Cedric has been fine. Yoshida is shite. Fonte should be ok apparently.

Looking at the lineups I'd say Southampton should take this. 2-1

Interesting selection by Klopp, he's putting Sturridge and Origi on for 60 mins by the looks of things, we'll see how it works out and there is plenty of choices on the bench if they are behind then. Should be a good game as So'tons line-up looks strong.

Smart finish.

I was wondering whether he'd have sorted his celebration out, but it's still terrible.

Not for the first time I got big humble pie on my face! :D

Such a frustrating player for the fans though, we all love him, but he's just never available. Lets hope for the love of all things good in this world, that he's fit enough mostly for the rest of the season.

There is a rumour going around that G-Dragon is sellotaping his Sturridge poster back together at this very moment.
