We were nervy last week, despite creating a lot of great chances, so hope we’re more settled on Saturday.

Stevenage have a big say on the promotion run in and a slip up here will mean play offs for us and potentially see Notts move into real contention if they pick up 3 points.

We just need to win, even if it’s a scrappy 1-0. At least then we go into the final day with a chance, when anything can happen.

Wycombe should win at Chesterfield but it’s a funny old game so will keep my fingers crossed they mess up and we move into 3rd come 5pm on Saturday.

I hear we’ve sold over 900 tickets as of yesterday so will be over 1000 I expect.

Before Wycombe's tonking on Saturday, GD looked very unlikely to come into it but now it's slightly less unlikely. I still think it'll be points on the board only though and we aren't exactly prolific scorers anyway.

I don't like these matches against sides who have nothing to really play for but that's what this is, as was last Saturday and as is our final match. All in all, I'll take the ugliest of ugly 1-0 wins, 95th minute deflection off Stockley's arse as he appeals for a penalty (which won't be given because they never are).

So during yesterday’s shambles, Tisdale gives sections of the away fans the wanker sign and Steve Perryman allegedly offers some fans out in the car park for a fight. Triffic.

And all this when we’re 4th and have two huge play off games coming up. I’m sick of being optimistic as it doesn’t work... Anyone who plays us should get through as we’re shit and even if we did get promoted we’d be relegated on 9 points, which would all be from 0-0 draws.

I think he watches the first half from the stand to see the game from that angle and then goes onto the bench to feed back to Tisdale.
