please excuse my ignorance but as a self confessed IT ignoramus i had to get help from my son to be able to watch the champions league game on youtube..free of charge...in good quality
why cant we watch a decent streamed match in good quality on a designated station on there involving our british football teams?
if this does happen anyway...sorry....

Because before lockdown theres very little demand for League 1/2 clubs to be broadcast as 90%+ would be at the game. Its only because fans arent allowed in there's a sudden demand. Plus once fans are allowed back in then the 3pm blackout will be back.

Link please.

That sounds very cheap for a whole season, is it because you're a tax exile/wanted criminal in Spain or can normal people still living in England and wanting to watch Grimsby get the same deal?

Do you get the £140 after the season finishes or when you sign on to watch Mansfield?

You have to make sure that ifollow thinks you live abroad.
My daughter lives in Canada and last season or the season before it was £115 for all 46 games. Any EFL iFollow club can get the deal, as Spanish Stag said deal is £140 this season.

Our CEO Said yesterday that in the coming days once the EFL have approved all the regulations regarding streaming for this season, we will communicate what is going to happen.

He said as it stands: its currently all season ticket holders get access to all their clubs home games - access to this will be communicated in due course, all away games you will have to pay the home club £10.

As mentioned, if you live outside of the UK you can get an ifollow account and watch the stream through that - I'm not sure how this works as I've never used it.

iFollow is not allowed in the UK due to the blackout for 3pm Saturday football games, but if you change your VPN on your computer/laptop you can get around this loophole apparently, but still have to pay for the service - Again this is what I've heard, I've not tried it myself as I'm one of the losers who goes to all games.

Apparently us, Sarfend and FGV haven't announced season ticket information yet, so our TV deals for said 'season ticket holders' will have to move fast once they go on sale. 16 days to go for Kick Off.

Cheers for that. Nothing on the EFL pages yet, or club sites, maybe the Mail jumped the gun before it's been finalised?

Vale have said the ST holders are free for home league games, Non ST Holders and away games are £10 along with cup ties.

Its also been revealed how the away fans will work....

The First 500 purchased by the away fans go to the "home club" with any after that staying with the fans club... so for instance Vale away at Exeter...

2000 Vale fans watch through the Vale stream then Exeter get the proceeds from 500 Vale fans plus their own and vale would get the rest on the Vale stream (1500)

2000 fans streaming. Each fan representing 75 meals distributed to the needy during the lockdown period.... branded with the logo of course...

That's a change in tact then because last week home clubs were keeping all the money and it was only L1 doing the above (vote pending).

That seems a sensible idea, in fact too sensible, are you sure the EFL have signed up to that?

Said on our OS yesterday that coverage of the Morecambe match will begin at 2pm. Intrigued about what the in-house pre-match build up will be.

If it is anything like our match vs PNE, it will just be a camera shot of players aimlessly kick a ball about trying to dodge the water sprinklers with no commentary until about ten minutes before kick off.

Was on our OS too. Apparently this extra coverage will consist of player interviews, a look at the opposition, and a word with the manager among other things. What I find interesting about the latter is that there'll be a pre match interview with Mark Bonner in which he'll discuss the game plan for the day. LOL.

if there's no fans in there shouldn't be many chips to nick. Saying that - the interviews after our 2-1 preseason loss at Blackpool were nearly drowned out by the noisy flying rats.....
