Our first of two games Vs Scunny in 10 days and one of the first time's I wont have been to Scunny, not that it's really been a good place for the Blades. Scunny seem to be the definition of a bogey team for us.
Was going to say this could be the day we drop out of the POs but somehow our GD is better (+7 Vs -1 to +1) than the three teams that could match us on points this weekend. That may well be the only thing keeping Clough in a job as I think he may go once we drop out of them...over to you Walsall.
Not confident at all, not only are Scunny a bogey, not only are we on an awful run and playing dire but also our defence (which Clough seemed to have stock piled players for) is shot and our keeper an absolute liability. Both the first choice goalkeeper and center-backs are out along with their back-ups. McEveley, Kennedy and Collins will miss out through injury whilst Chris Basham is suspended. Leaving us without a recognized CB unless we recall McGahey from Tranmere which I think their fans would love as he's apparently been awful for them!
Sky sports are predicting a defense of Freeman Brayford Alcock Harris infront of Turner. A truly frightening prospect with the very out-of-form Harris the only left-footer.
Obviously ir goes without saying we'll probably now play awful and nick this 1-0.
How has Van Veen been for you Scunny? We were linked with him also in January.
