How quickly it all turns to ratshit. I have no idea how good our, or any others finances are now. We have done the same, sold anyone who a club showed interest in.

I was expecting Swindon under Wellens to be a force this season.

It’s all bollocks really. We’re no better or worse off than any other L1/2 clubs. He’s after drumming up ST sales and trying to shivvy on the sale of the club. He’s had an injunction preventing him from selling to some Americans - he was trying to sell up behind the back of others who had invested in the club. Power is a grade A shyster. There’s been the best part of £2m come into the club recently but God knows where it’s actually gone!

It’s the end game for Power and he’s trying to get some ST money in that he can stuff in his arse pocket before he fucks off.

Thought Wellens leaving was a bit of a betrayal to them, but going by the last few months it seems like he made a good decision.

Wellens saw that Power wasn’t interested any more. Recruitment was poor - doubt we’re anywhere near the salary cap. Not exactly pulling up trees at Salford, though. Even with their financial clout.
