It seems League 2 is full of basket case clubs this season.

It's too early to be talking about relegation. We can ressurect this thread in October when the relegation fodder are nailed down.

I completely agree, it’s unfair to write off the other 23 teams too.

The issue with Bolton is they’ve had a losing habit and culture for a few seasons so it’s difficult to turn that around just like that, added to huge player turnover and a load of kids mixed in.

I imagine they will turn it around but may take time, although usually to get automatic promotion you can only lose 8-10 games max.

Could be a longer term job than their fans think though and certainly could take a year or two longer than they’d like to get out of this league as Portsmouth proved in relatively similar terms. (4 seasons for them wasn’t it?)

Didn't really follow today's game but whenever I glanced at Twitter it seemed as though they were having the better of it. Just two instances of woeful defending to let us score. They did have two disallowed for offside and hit the post.

It is a welcome change to see the 'big boy' of the league having a rough time instead of just swatting everyone else aside.

I think we should make it a routine/ritual to visit here and have a brief laugh at 5pm every Saturday :lol::lol:

See you all next Saturday, but in the meantime let's enjoy the time we have with Masi cause he won't be around much longer.

I appreciate no one's looking for an actual reasoning behind why we've been shite, but I'll give you one.

The defenders are being asked to do too much too early, marauding into midfield and leaving us exposed to counters too easily.

Basically we've got a whole new system of play and players unaccustomed to it who are being asked to run before they can walk. I'm sure we'll turn it around but fear we'll be too far off the pace to challenge the Top 3 by the time that we do.

Like other Tranmere fans I’m keeping quiet. Very quiet.

Anyone have the number of the team in Korea that had makeshift arrows pointing to the goal? Think even Southend would feel comfortable at the moment against us!

Wasn't it Denmark?

Listening to the a football league podcast this morning (I can't remember which one, either the Totally Football one, or Not the Top 20) and Ian Evatt is the first Bolton manager to lose his first 4 competitive games in charge since 1895.

Records being broken all over the shop....

Can I join in too, a lot of their fans were knobs when we played them last season.
They have always been like that. They come a very close second in the UK most objectional fans stakes to a club who play in red not far away (about 3 miles) from where I live.

Ian Evatt at Bolton might end up being like Nathan Jones at Stoke

Hasn't this kind of happened for the last three seasons? Chesterfield, Notts County and Mansfield. Not necessarily the big boy but teams all heavily tipped to go up.

Bolton have the same number of points as us, but haven't shipped in as many goals yet. They are so 'MASSIVE' though, so it's only a matter of time before they catch up with Bradford's points haul and start bossing the league!

Man United fans are far far less obnoxious and downright arrogant than the RS`s armchair legions. If you lived with the gobbie Barstewards you would know what I mean

Serious question because I don't know the answer but has Tranmere and Liverpool ever been in same division?
I'm almost sure Tranmere & Everton have not, knowing Everton have had such a long spell in top tier.

Yes and no, but more no than yes.
Tranmere and Liverpool met regularly during the Second World War in the various war leagues. Some statiticians include these fixtures as first class games, others don’t.
For the record, P18W3L15
