33 to win and they call stumps for bad light. Cricket really doesn’t do itself any favours with stupid rules like this.
My girlfriend explained to me that when they went off previously the light meter reading at that point became the one that they had to go by at future events of light monitoring.

170 to level the series at 3-3. Big ask. If I had to back a team, I would go with Pakistan to clinch the series. Their spinners are very canny.

Think the way we batted there we’d have chased down 270. What an innings from Salt, one of those days where he just middled everything. At the halfway stage I thought it’d be a tight one so well done England.

Probably been one of the most entertaining white ball series in a very long time throughout.

After a couple of narrow defeats that was certainly a very convincing win !

Particularly by Salt - put the bowling to the sword .

Very convincing win for England .

Pakistan seemed to give up after losing 2 early wickets

I think we'd have won that and whitewashed the Oz if the rain had held off for another 20 minutes!

After losing to Ireland the game against Australia is virtually a must win game unless lots of other teams lose points cos of the rain.

That abandoned game might have been a blessing. We actually moved into a s/f spot with the 1 point. 2 must win games still to come.

New Zealand looks like they will make it 2 wins from 3 meaning the battle will be for 2nd.

India might be regretting putting themselves in atm.

SA bowled very well so far.

It's quite difficult predict which 4 teams will make the semis. NZ and SA seem to be the teams with a bit of momentum (how I hate that word) but the weather could still play a major part.

My better half said that Stokes is not worthy of his place in this team and do you know what she's right.
The late collapse might be costly at the end, but the bookies favour an England win. NZ have some absolute beasts in their batting line up.

Good job Jordan came on to get 2 vital catches - particularly Phillips when NZ looked well placed.

And decent death bowling again .

Great stuff from Hales and buttler, some very good fast bowling too, strange chase from New Zealand mind. Thought they were better than that tbh

Phew !

England get over the line v Sri Lanka.

Scare losing a few wickets mid innings but fortunately Stokes held firm .

Think there were a number of positives such as the bowling in the last half of their innings and the opening partnership plus Stokes. I think Livingstone and to a lesser extent Moeen need to have a word with themselves though. In Livingstones case that was brainless cricket giving his wicket away when the situation called for working the gaps. That opened the door for SL, thankfully we just about got over the line.

Yes both teams started well in the power play before struggling in the middle overs .

Fortunately we had enough to see out the win .
