Minecraft hologram on my table? Hm. Looks like something I'd use once, find really cool, then never touch again. But still.

TAKE MY MONEY NOW.

Gears of SNORE, AMMIRITE?

That looked alright actually. I mean, I think Gears 3 was getting a bit stale, and I never even bothered with Judgement, but I did love 1 and 2. If it can recapture that magic, I'll love it.

Gears was pretty much too dark to see anything really.

Haven't convinced me to even entertain buying an Xbone anyway.

I think it's fair to say that so far, Fallout 4 isn't just winning this years E3, it's dominating it.

Not to say other stuff doesn't still look great. But Fallout 4 is by far the most exciting thing so far. Well, that and that FUCKING ONLINE PIRATE GAME.

Pirates are great. For a few seconds I was worried when I heard the pirate music that they'd gotten monkey island and i'd have to buy an xbone just for that.

Was sold when two words were spoken: 'backwards compatibility'

Was needed and will be on consoles within months, marvelous.

Good press conference, a lot of games, good range, a few completely new unheard of IPs, would have preferred Microsoft to show their full hand rather than saving stuff like Quantum Break, new XBL updates, and an unnamed new IP for later in the year. But that's the best Microsoft E3 for many years.

EA conference next up at 9. Not sure there's too much there to look forward to for me. Probably see a fair bit of Battlefront. Not particularly interested in that entry since it's an online only game. Mass Effect I guess? Would love to see a new Dead Space but I won't hold my breath.

Yay, Mirror's Edge. I'm one of the few who adored that game, and the news of them ditching guns from the gameplay is a good step, and free roam on that game will be great fun.

Missed the second half of the EA conference and missed Ubisoft completely. You can blame Copa America for that :p

I refuse to miss Sony though. Even if it means I have to multitask.

Ubisoft had a pretty good conference, sans the Just Dance and the racing stuff. For Honor is a game I'll keeper an eye on, AC: Syndicate also because of the setting, and the new Ghost Recon game because I absolutely loved some of the level/location design in the gameplay that we saw.

Unsure about The Division. South Park is something I'm not too interested in since I haven't really watched the show outside of the first season which was quite some time ago.

Yea Ubisoft started and ended well, very good in general. Other than AC not many 'must have' games for me, but a lot of games I have some interest in.

EA was pretty good for an EA conference, which are normally the worst of the lot.

Apparently Sony has one big announcement to make, any decent performance and this will be the best E3 i've ever seen.

Don't really understand No Man's Sky, it's big, but... what do you actually do? What's the purpose? What will make you want to play more?

The Last Guardian looks good, but they waited too long, it doesn't look as good as it would have 3 years ago - looks dated. Still will make you feel good, like SOTC and ICO did, but it will still lack features and innovation.

Wtf was up with the whole Shenmue 3 game thing being announced for kickstarter? Why wouldn't it be funded by Sony themselves? Very stupid.

because it's already raised $500,000. Probably them just testing the waters to see what role crowd funding could play in the future, if it simply means more games then that can't be a bad thing.

SPYRO THE DRAGON KICKSTARTER NOW PLEASE.

So fans who want Shenmue have to pay $2m to get a game to be made? Obviously Sony is fronting most of the costs, why not just do all of it and stop penny pinching?

If kick starter is the future of AAA gaming then it's going downhill fast, consumers shouldn't be funding the actual products before it's even made. Shenmue 3 could be utter dog shite. It's a stupid practice. It's great for those games that have no backing and no big publisher, but for a AAA Sony and PC exclusive? It's just distasteful.
