I think it's pretty obvious this is ours this season. Tonight, the small matter of who we have to beat. Let's hope it's an easy one like Wallstall or whatever they're called.

Or Arsenal. 2 guaranteed wins right there.

Southampton vs Palace, Exeter vs Liverpool and Leeds vs Rotherham are surely the live games from that draw.

Scunthorpe or Orient at home.

The magic of the FA Cup.

Just have to beat the Magpies twice in a few weeks then...

The following ties will be on TV that is for certain.

Oxford v Swansea
Wycombe v Villa
Exeter v Liverpool

And probably something like Spurs V Leicester or Norwich v Man City.

Bury vs Bradford City.
So who's gutted they've missed the chance to play Bradford?

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

You don't think they'll make it 51 consecutive televised Manchester United games? (I can't remember how many it's been..)

Ideal draw for us. Don't have to travel and no-one will bat an eyelid when we lose to Man City. Had enough of being embarrassed by lower league teams so this is perfect. Was bricking it when there were only four of us left and Brighton was one of them. Think the only thing worse than losing to Hughton (no ill-feeling towards him but the media/pundit reaction would've been unbearable) would be losing to Ipswich. Mightily relieved when we got City instead.

Well they have Sheffield United at home - probably scrape through 1-0.

Doubt Wycombe v Villa will be on tv unless they go for the "they steal our managers" angle (O'Neill, Gregory, Lambert).

I would be very disappointed if Man Utd v Sheff Utd is selected, likewise Spurs v Leicester or any other all Premiership tie.

There's a handful of decent "underdog at home" games to pick from which would help promote lower league football and stick a bit of money in the coffers for those clubs:

Exeter v Liverpool
Wycombe v Villa
Eastleigh v Bolton
Oxford v Swansea

Even Leeds v Rotherham would appeal more to me. You can have your "big" Premier League ties later, give the little teams their moment in the sun first.

Our game at home to Villa is sold out even though it's live on BT Sport, some much needed income coming our way then. :woo:
