This was at the weekend - the lines are still visible where the new drainage has been put in, so guess it needs more time for the grass to cover those.

It's really poor, but as long as it's ok in a few weeks time then that's the main thing I guess, especially if the drainage issues from last season aren't going to resurface.

When we completely re-laid our pitch with installed a new drainage system three years ago, we didn't play any home pre-season games and requested our first game of the season was away so it was over three months before it was fit to play on.

How about Skysports?

Did anyone else watching a L2 match yesterday on Sky have a camera filming that was of very poor quality and zoomed so far out you could barely make out what was happening on the pitch?

They finally switched it to a better camera in the second half but still you'd expect better from Sky and also the commentary was very amateurish.

Ours was ok in fairness. Suppose at Salford the camera wouldn’t be far away though!

Our picture quality, camera work, commentary etc were excellent.

The only downfall was that they cut the feed at 90 minutes so no-one saw any injury time (unless they were abroad watching it on Imps+) but it doesn't sound like it was just us who had that issue.

Another run-out for it tonight with more games being played at the same time on this occasion.

Even the Harrogate paper doesn't know they're in the League.

Isn’t it tin pot having to play next Saturday and not having the game called off because of your side packed with internationals.

Not if your players choose club over country.

Mansfield have as many international players as stands at Field Mill.

We thank supporters for their continued patience

Bromley not sending us the tickets yet for a game a week on Saturday is epic tinpottery.

They hand write each one in calligraphy.
Worth waiting for
Seeing as though they’ve only allocated us 490 tickets that’s entirely possible.

What an exciting addition to the league they are.

Still nothing. Farcical when the allocation is so small it’s going to sell out straight away, can’t make any plans or book any travel.

Went on sale at 9am this morning. Ticket website crashed with some weird error so no one could buy them for half an hour. Are we the tinpot ones here?

Sold out in two minutes haha.

Reawakened my newly acquired PTSD from last Saturday, flashbacks and everything. For Bromley away.

I never want to go near another ticketing website ever again.

The duality of League 2 is Notts fans crashing a ticket website for Bromley away tickets on the same day Accrington bring about 20 fans to Meadow Lane

Does getting hounded by Roy Keane and Gary Neville make us tinpot? :surr:

We have had a bad week…our chairman’s representative (whatever that is) who recently attended our fans forum has been identified as a raging racist/homophobe/insert anything here via his old Tweets…

https://x.com/supermomo76

Attempts to justify (even if jokingly) the Boston marathon bomb, on the day it happened. Makes threats to burn down the property of someone who owes him money, and kill them. Excuses a paedophile teacher and suggests the child student who was raped should count themselves lucky. Suggests a footballer is effeminate and should undergo gender reassignment surgery as a result. Says "we all have issues with ethnic minorities". Numerous, really grim tweets about women and their use as sexual objects. Calls Oprah Winfrey a bitch. Suggests black people don't have their own role models and that when they become rich they just adopt whiteness. Moans that the Karate Kid remake's child actor is black. Says his servant in Kuwait is useless and he will "hunt the witch down".

We are apparently about to hire Neil Hart as CEO from Bolton so presumably this will coincide with this bloke fucking off.

It's not a derby but we let them think it is because we feel sorry for them because their only real rival is Telford United.
