Villa to play well for half hour, go 1-0 down, stop playing and eventually lose 5-0.

Only thing that's surprising is that he didn't just decide to hit form against us to be honest.

So apparently the Remi Garde deal all done and dusted. 3.5 year contract. Kev McDonald will take charge on Monday night at Spurs although Remi will be in the stands watching on.......
probably thinking "What the fuck have I got myself into"

Same shit, different day. Remi looks like he's regretting it already.

Finally Gil gets a chance, the only player on our team who can move and make space. We're such a dinosaur of a club.

Only Scott Sinclair looks anything even remotely like a Premier League player on the pitch for Villa. The rest are a combination of just not good enough and painfully shit. Westwood, Sanchez, Baker, Richardson, Ayew, Lescott, Hutton etc are all absolutely atrocious.

Gil has been superb since he's came on. Why doesn't he start?

Baker is out on loan at Bristol City... For good reason.

Because we have bad philosophy, he needs to start with Jack.

A philosophy that will hopefully change starting tomorrow morning.

It's not the first time Mike Dean has done that. It looks like he's genuinely trying to get in the TV shot.

The situation is really hard for Villa, they're still disorganized, mainly at defence (like they let Kane totally free on the last minute to score). Let's see if Rémi Garde will be able to handle(rescue) it. While Tottenham did their job, thumbs up for Dele Alli. And Mike Dean's reactions again generating good vines.

Our defence has been shocking for the last decade if memory serves me correct .
I would love to have Melberg / Laurson / Bouma , last decent defenders we've had

Melberg and Laursen were tanks. Bouma however was a bag of shit.

I'm not really sure how you'd set up your side to get the best out of them. There are some decent players that should be starting games but they're a bit lightweight if you put them all on. Sinclair, Grealish and Gil all should start, but they're not the most combative midfield so you'd probably need 2 holding/defensive mids and then one striker. That then means one of Gil and Grealish need to move wider to give width or you'll end up lopsided and that isn't either players best position really. When it comes to strikers you've got slim pickings. Ayew is fucking doggo, I really couldn't believe you paid for him. Gestede though might warrant a run. Agbonlahor can't shoot for beans so is probably best used as a sub to attack tired defences.

Guzan
Bacuna - Richards - ? - Amavi
Gueye -AnyonebutSanchez
Grealish - Gil - Sinclair
Gestede

The more I look at that the more I think it wouldn't make a bad Championship side!
