I did end up watching and pleasantly surprised by our performance. We got the ball down more and actually passed to our own players. Was getting fed up of playing long balls and hoping for scraps off knock downs in previous games. 4-4-2 is the way to go away from home. Especially against sides like Spurs who break with such pace.
Thought we equipped ourselves well and played well. Disappointing result. Contentious decision by the ref not to send off Sissoko when Vardy was sent off for far less the day earlier.
He then went on to set up their winner. But those are the breaks.
We're too nice at times. Still not seen us buying into the gamesmanship a lot of teams do, and that will cost us points. On another day we would have got a draw there and it wouldn't have looked like we had been lucky. Spurs were largely reduced to shots from distance.
Thought Heaton could have saved their winner. He seems a little rusty after his injury.
Dyche again didn't make his substitutions early enough. I could see we were starting to sit deeper after about 65 minutes and needed some fresh impetus. He didn't throw on an attack minded player for another 15 minutes after I'd noticed we were starting to lose that energy. He needs to react faster to the game.
