Never mind the sideshow at Anfield on Sunday, this is the match of the weekend. No Verts, no Dembele, no Eriksen, no gimme in terms of a W. Cardiff have clearly struggled since stepping up to the PL but they will take a scalp or two before the inevitable drop...just hoping it doesn't start today with Tottenham! Man for man Spurs are a better side, today it is all about professionalism and focus, forgetting the Barca game and getting on with it. I think Poch will get that out of them so I'll plump for a home win.

TBH Benji, Tottenham's defence has been embarrassed more than once this season, I get very twitchy watching any sort of set piece against us these days. That is why I forecast a goal for the Bluebirds; I will of course be crowing if we keep a clean sheet!

Turns out it was really hard work to beat Cardiff, I have to give them credit for their tenacity and willingness to attack rather than pack the defence. With a bit more quality up front they could have easily taken a point, Lloris almost gifted them a goal with an error of judgement.
Still, happy with the win, just hope we can get the mighty Eriksen, Dembele and Verts back sooner rather than later.
