Sawyers possibly on his way back to West Brom for £3m.

Easy on the eye but I don't rate him particularly. No great loss for Brentford.

New QPR bid for Judge rejected, a derisory £450,000.

Lambert simply won't let him go for less than £1m+, perhaps a little more, and I don't see QPR meeting the valuation. Fortunately, he's only just signed a 2 year deal after we were relegated.

Even if he does leave for £1m, it will be a PR and fan shitshow based on promises & pre season talk from both Evans and Lambert. They'll know the fans will hit the roof so it's a tricky one, especially if Judge does want away.

It appears that Kazenga LuaLua is re-signing for Luton Town.

Can’t say I’m massively impressed with him but obviously couldn’t get a better deal elsewhere.

Looks like a wind up, picture I saw was him in last years kit!

All gone back to being quiet since the Sluga signing, would have thought we would want to be done prior to this trip to Portugal it doesn’t look like that will be the case.

Why are we doing two training camps? Strange there wasn’t a game on the weekend too.

Edit: transfer klaxon...

Weird situation. Didn't join us until well into last season and then turned down a deal only to sign a new one toward the end of July. Agent who likes to play hardball or maybe he just fucking hates pre season.
Either way I'm fucking delighted, was fantastic for us last season and would have been a nightmare replacing him.
Need a right back, centre half and a forward now I reckon.

Crunch time for most clubs this week surely...

Birmingham need another CB I feel, and a winger to replace Jota, we need a striker and if I'm greedy a CM otherwise the likelihood is that we won't build on last season but I can't see it being Nketiah with how his pre-season has gone, Brentford need to hold onto their front three, Derby need to pull their fingers out, Leeds need to address last seasons issues and replace Jansson but I don't think Bielsa seems bothered by either problem, Boro have been eerily quiet for them, Preston need to replace Robinson, possibly with Barker? Wednesday you'd think will have a manager in place by the end of this week but nothing would surprise me with Chansiri and Swansea seem to be making the most of Cooper's Chelsea contacts and may be bringing in a few loanees this week, Reece James (unlikely?) and Kasey Palmer linked.

Should be interesting, feel a lot of clubs still have an awful lot to do at this stage compared to past years. We need to do what we've failed to do when in good positions for years, I don't have much hope.

WBA need 2 centre backs, at least 1 right back, 1 forward and a wide-left midfielder/winger. 6-7 more in before the 9th ideally, so we'll be a busy club over the next fortnight or so.

Agreed. Ajayi's a great signing but not particularly fond of Sawyers or Zohore, massive downgrades on what you had going into last season.

Also delighted. A very talented player who can terrorise defences. He thoroughly enjoyed playing for us last season and obviously wants more of the same.

I’d be sacking his agent if I was him. The OS says that there were positive discussions... I hope the discussions started and finished with the words: “stop being a dick and sign the contract.”

We take Bentley from Brentford for £2m, they take Raya from Blackburn for £3m, Blackburn take Walton on loan...

I'd say Blackburn have come out of that chain best off.

You can’t blame either of them for wanting to maximise the amount of money he can get. It’s literally the agents job. Obviously he didn’t get as many bites as he wanted butbthe reltionship with us was obviously kept open and he had the option to come back here.

I’d say the agent has played a blinder for his client there to be honest.

Apparently we are leading the chase to sign Conor Gallagher who was Chelsea's academy player of the year.

Know nothing about him other than that.

Not really. He has had to come back with his tail between his legs, a month behind the other lads and now has to build up his match fitness. He won’t be starting the season until mid August.

I doubt LTFC would’ve offered him anything different or improved.

That’s the same award Reece James won last year so based on that he should be a mint signing.

On loan I should have said.

Yeah, given the amount of players Chelsea have in their academy I imagine it's a pretty fair accolade to have.

You have no way of knowing that.

Maybe the club found they couldn't bring in a player or two that they were targeting so went back with an improved offer. Maybe they both moved and met in the middle, no way we can tell from the outside.

I reckon Zohore will do OK and overall is a solid signing. I'm expecting something of a 'marquee' signing to play alongside him though, and possibly a back-up striker as well.

I think Ajayi and Sawyers (if he does come) along with Krovinovic as an attacking midfielder/play-maker will see us massively improve in central midfield as we were nowhere near good enough in that area last season.

It's Gayle, Dawson, Holgate and Barnes who we need to replace the most now. Most of these will probably be deadline day loan deals I imagine.

Matt Miazga set to rejoin on loan for the season - him and Liam Moore were excellent last term. Add in the returning Jordan Obita and the always excellent Andy Yiadom, a very solid back four.

We're also signing Charlie Adam, but I'll choose the ignore that...

Back-up I would imagine so happy enough with that.

So after a couple of names added, we just need 2 more players - a right back and a striker and I think we’re done.

Still think we need to move on a few - Jones, Jervis, Musonda, Stech spring to mind although in a couple of cases, perhaps Jones is starting to build up the U23 side that he mentioned before which will likely be a gradual process.
