Is Luke Berry injured again? Can you see him being moved on in January?

No he’s not injured just not really featured under Edwards. Came on in the cup game last week. I’d like to see him feature as I rate him and he’s always liable to pop up with a goal every now and again but the appearances he’d have got seem to have gone to Woodrow of late.

I suspect his contract is very likely up in the summer (no contract info is published by us so it’s all speculation but it would make sense) so he might be available if someone wants to pay for a permanent. A loan id doubt, we don’t have a full 25 man squad anyway so it wouldn’t be of benefit to us unless we bring in someone which thus far looks doubtful

Edwards, I think rather foolishly in his post game stuff, confirmed Brees contract is up in the summer. As above very rare for any contract info to be put out there by us hence I think it’s not a great move on his part.

That being the case we’d be I think extremely foolish to not take a fee for him now if there’s offers on the table for him - may as well get something now than nothing in the summer as I can’t see him re-signing. We’d need a replacement and Id assume that’s why he hasn’t left already

He's one of our better supply routes but hes not in the Justin/Stacey category and surely not a Prem player, as he is too inconsistent and can be poor defending the back post from attacks down our left. Not enough aggression. But he'll be a sorry miss. I can see him going to a better off Champ side now or in the summer.

Or just reverting back to type? Everyone knows who’s contract is up at each individual time, apart from the fans who pay the wages.

Maybe a change in policy… looking to not lose players for nothing letting their contracts run out again. Like it or not, we have to use this as a good income stream for the club to allow us to get stronger all round over time.

I personally think he’s a very good Championship right back, but is very much a confidence player and needs to become far more consistent to be a good Premier League winger. His last two games have been below average… maybe his head was indeed turned

Interesting he’s not injured but you only had six players named on your bench yesterday.

We are certainly in the market for a midfielder and Berry would be ideal but I assume wages will be an issue if it’s a permanent deal only.

Ben Whiteman been linked to us again - were interested in him before he joined Preston.

Club have shot it down but I think he'll move in the summer if the rumours about him wanting a big pay increase are true.

He's not Ben Pearson level but he's probably equally as important to us considering how little quality we have.

Jordan Williams from Barnsley is picking up pace again. Would bring some much needed pace and cover a huge problem position.

Fulham linked with Whiteman now. £5m mooted.

I suspect he'll be off, looks like his agent is busy.

Do you think he’s premier league level?

He’s always looked a decent player but gives me James Bree vibes, decent player for clubs our level (mid table championship) but he surprised if they could be in anyway impactful the level above

Burnley strengthened again last night with another centre half. They have a few now so wondering if McNally might be available from them on a loan.

Was much sort after in the summer so if he is will have offers. I wouldn’t mind us looking at that given we’ve been a centre half short all season. Probably have a fair bit of interest though I’d imagine.

All deathly silent in terms of incomings for us though which given we have places available in the 25 man squad and with a bit of extra quality I genuinely think could have a serious playoff ambitions is a little strange. I accept money will be tight though and there’s no real urgent needs

Hard to say, his lack of pace could be an issue but he could be solid backup for them if the setup suits him. I'd say a top Championship side is probably his limit though.

Need to hold what we got too. Dont want to lose a key component. A Morris, Bree, Campbell Clark

Talking of which Bree upped his freekicks into the Sorba Thomas range. Flat fast and into real dangerous spots yesterday, stepped him up a delivery notch

I suppose Udinese do need see how he fares for their B team before signing him themselves.
Probably not for 60 million Euros which is the price tag he has apparently.

We have a couple of new recruiting guys with connections to Benfica which is why we have him .

Its all gonna go very badly pear shaped for you lot one day. And you dont seem to care or see it. You gonna be left with a bigger pile of stinking shit than you already are.

Only like getting a Premier league youngster on loan really who is highly rated.

Who knows how he will be do- - might be totally hopeless or with our record probably get injured soon enough.

People are quite aware if promotion doesn't happen in due course than it could be a tricky time off the pitch finances wise.

Sounds like Bree is off to rejoin Jones at Southampton then. Of the above he is the least key, despite being a major supplier of assists, hes pretty average defender. Amazed hes off to the Prem, but good luck to him.

Lets hope we get in an equal at minimum and some decent cash. Seen some hugely variant fees mentioned

Great signing if Luton land Drameh on loan.

Sounds like Bree for 750k or so as he’s only got 6 months left. Maybe should have looked to move him on last summer really as I don’t think it was ever likely he would sign a new deal and probably got more value for him then, and been able to perhaps look at permanent replacements rather than a likely loan we will get now. Good move for him I’d expect and low value punt from a Southampton perspective. Not sure how much he’ll play and if it will be very impactful but good luck to him if n getting a premier league opportunity

Interesting to see Drameh. Assume only a loan which we don’t usually make much use of but it’s a very important position for us as that right side and Bree in particular were major major attacking outlets for us. Slightly less important with the arrival of Doughty on the left (and right and wherever you want to play him) but do think Bree going is potentially a big structural change to our approach regardless of how you rate him as a player

Coventry have agreed a fee for Sean Maguire supposedly. I'm absolutely baffled how he has found another club at this level.

Just because you mention Coventry and a striker, surprised there’s not much noise around Gyokores at Coventry getting a move.

His price tag should be about £20m to be fair.

If they sign Maguire, I can see us bringing in that Zidane Iqbal from Utd on loan.

We’re desperate and skint so there is a lot of scraping of the bottom of the barrel going on.

Conor Coventry joins on loan presumably as Dan Barlaser's replacement.
Any thoughts MK fans?
