Sounds promising, City have impressive facilities for helping players physically. From what I've seen totally revamped gym etc and have experience with helping smaller players, Joe Bryan for example as the LWB springs to mind. Many used to see him as physically not up to it, now very capable. At this rate he could well be understudy to Bryan, however given how fit he is I can't see him missing many games or coming off early so me may get the odd appearance in a cup game if against lower opposition or end of next season if we are safe (however Cotterill didn't do that this year after the title was secure).

Pleased with this, heard good things and we've been after him all summer so Luzon was obviously very keen.

Never heard of him personally, 26 year old Tunisian international striker, played most of his career in Tunisia other than one season in the German second division.

No idea tbh but he was impressive on loan for us when he played on loan from Everton last season. Really lively upfront and a good finisher. I would have been happy if we'd signed him.

Take him. If your woeful performance last night against possibly the second-worst team in the Football League was anything to go by, you should be looking to sign an entire team. You made Crawley look classy. You could have done worse than sign up their Rorie Deacon, tbh.

Interestingly that HITC sport and Pete bloke on Twitter now have us leading the race to sign Sam Gallagher on loan too. That's more like it, although no doubt it will be a 6 month loan or full term with some sharks nicking in over January and ruining it. Derby, Wolves.....

Don't believe the rumour about the Sheffield Wednesday guy, even though Robinson does have a rather unhinged obsession with bringing in players from the blue side of the steel City.

Was the fans player of the year last year, and apparently is the player our new management team has been most impressed with. Given that Douglas has been told he can leave, and McEachran has broken his foot, I can't see us selling Toumani unless the Austrian lad Piesinger joins.

Also, would be surprised if any of those sides could actually afford him - perhaps Fulham aside, although they seem to have real difficulty in deciding how much to bid for players at the moment.

He is our main striker and the only one we have who is proven in the Championship so obviously nobody at the club wants him to go, every player has his price though. If he does go then Hull are seriously going to have to pay us a shitload of cash. Reckon a bid in the £8 million + range will get him. Luton have probably get a pretty nice percentage sell on fee if he does go also..

20% of any profit over £600k is what our (usually very reliable) ITK types reckoned at the time of the initial transfer. If he went for £8 million that would net us a cool £1.5 million, so we'll obviously be keeping an eye on the situation!

Personally I'd rather he stayed with you for another season, Steve Bruce has previous for wrecking our ex-striker's careers after big money moves and like all Luton fans I want to see Andre do well, we owe him a great debt of gratitude. If he continues to develop at the rate he has over the last 24 months he'll be off to the Prem next summer anyway I would have thought.
