The three main strikers we've been linked with now have all found new clubs, Akpom to Brighton, Sinclair to Birmingham, Fletcher to Leeds. Seems we can't or won't buy anyone until the Hogan deal is done but that one looks like going right up to the deadline.

It was some deleted tweet by a London journalist, if the release clause was £300k I think we'd know.

Bizarre, think he'll go though as his agent will twist his ear. Anything over £1m with a replacement in today and I'd take it, anything lower (£300k) we may as well have let him walk in the summer.

West Ham out of Hogan deal for good now, Villa have bid but way below what we want, and what West Ham were bidding, but both parties seem confident a deal can be reached today. Not much contact from Palace or West Brom, both enquired but doesn't look to be going any further atm.

Going off what we've been demanding, and our previous deals (for Gray and Tarky), it sounds like it would be something like £11m up front, £4m if they gain promotion, and a sell on %.

Someone has enquired about Grimshaw on loan. Been a shame for him really, never really got his chance to play in his favoured CM and when he did we got smashed 6-0... But that was a bad day for everyone.
