Hurst says there are question marks over Aswad Thomas future after he hasn't come back to training this week as expected. Wouldn't comment on why he hasn't come back as its personal reasons.

Also said unlikely we will be getting Jolley, though was vague on the subject but said certainly wouldn't be a signing before the weekend. Reading between the lines is we have enquired about him but probably doesn't want to move this way.

There's nothing to say it was Jolley he meant, I think it's best now if he just keeps quiet. Fans are getting pretty sick of being built up ('hairs on the back of my neck' comment springs to mind) to be let down constantly by the club just failing to attract players.

To be honest I've a sneaky feeling Jolley wouldn't be that great, but just a sign of some sort of intent is what we need. The fans need a bit of a boost, Saturday did that but an exciting signing that makes the rest of the league stand up and take notice is needed. Not only for the morale of the fans, but we actually need something on the pitch.
