Contrary to rumours, we aren’t signing David Tutonda, according to our local paper guy

Barnet fans - Pretty sure this is Shaq Coulthirst, he played 90mins for us today in our friendly with Reading U23s.

You don't usually give a trialist 90mins in a friendly unless you're looking at signing him, he's been on the clubs radar for a few seasons now - Worth the gamble in League Two on a free after all his injuries?

Definitely good enough for L2 ability wise. Good ball retention and great finisher. But like you said his injury record is horrendous.

Never rated Shaq to be honest. Barely stays on his feet. Finishing is decent but injuries have killed him.

Hope he does well though as he's a nice guy who's been through a lot.

A fit Coulthirst is more than good enough for L2 - deadly finisher and a tidy player. He had it rough with us - a couple of bad injuries and the passing of his Mum really hit him hard.

It’s always difficult to judge players with injuries with us - our medical team are/were not the best - but he would be a good addition. Will always be loved over here for his two goals against Brentford.

Had a chat with our GK coach tonight, terms have been agreed with a goalkeeper to come in on loan and we’re hopeful to announce who this week but needs to be signed off by their parent club. If we could get Aston Oxborough or Harry Isted back on loan from Norwich and Luton respectively, I’d be delighted.

Apparently we’ve been linked with a move for Chester’s Brad Jackson.

With his ability to play as a rwb in a 352 or a as an out and out winger in a 4321 he would look like a great fit for us.

Keates reckons our numbers could double by end of the week, with contract offers out.

With already 11 signed on (including Dibble, Carrington and Rutherford who are in negotiation but would be silly to refuse a contract), I no doubt expect a mix of signings and youth promotions

We’ve already paid fees for two players this summer in Rooney and Williams.
The club has said they wouldn’t stand in anyone’s way if they wanted to better themselves but the money has to be right , Harrogate have tried twice to get Joel Taylor on the cheap but he’s still with us.

The second bid for Taylor was rumoured to be high, not six figures but not far off. Jackson would be valued similarly.

Andy Cooks name is suddenly raising its annual head with us. Like the Durrell signing, picking up speed

Gozie Ugwu or however you spell it.

Looks like another one of those endless Non League strikers who can only score a decent amount of goals when playing for low-pressure small Southern based sides and then does absolutely nothing when he is forced to move more than 3 miles north of the M25.

Someone reckons we've got Byron Harrison on trial.

A new low.

I will never forget John Still's crazy obsession with him, to the extent that Still was happy to let us play with 10 men for about 5 minutes when Byron got concussion early on, then he came back on with his head bandaged and walked around in a daze up top for the whole 90 minutes probably not even knowing what time of day it was.

i'll haunt Wrexham from the grave.... and they'll still be in this league.... (or a lower one if they rely on Byron's goals)

You got the flukiest promotion ever yet you prefer to come on here to stink the board out.

What a strange little man you are.

That sounds like you are standing in a player’s way?
Bit of a stretch to come to that conclusion, fair bit of difference between standing in the way and gifting your best players away. He signed a new contract in January knowing full well he had league one clubs scouting him.

He definitely sniffs bus seats after people get up.

I'm sure he once put on here that he was 54 years old or something. I was staggered, thought we were dealing with a 15 year old at most.

i am a bit concerned if we are signing and getting in on trial a load of 30 plus players... our average squad age will be pretty high!

He’s definitely a Non League Oddball, the weirdo type you see in non league grounds up and down the country.

Can't see us shelling us out a fee but there may be a bit left from the Festus Arthur money who we sold to Hull this summer.
