Mitchell will be shit for ages and then have a Jordan Bowery / Caleb Folan purple patch where it all comes together and some poor unfortunate championship club pays a fee for him.
Funnily enough I was thinking he reminds me a lot of an (even shitter) Caleb Folan! It's the bambi on ice style of run and ball control they both share

Chestefield Notts County BEEF definitely my least favourite flavour off this showing. Notts fans seem to be better at non-football BEEF as evidenced in the Coronavirus thread.
3 pages and 1 potential rumored signing, rename this the brotherhood alliance vs Kabongoals FC beef thread.
Hot off the press! Someone on The Fishy reckons we're looking at Fylde's Nick Haughton. Fyldefan any mention of that at your end?

He won’t know, he’s at a vigil at the foot of Danny Rowes bed.

No one has said Taylor isn’t a good player? But the truth is you did us a favour by signing him and paying a fee because he’d have been third choice here behind Miller and arguably player of the season Whittle!

But yeah Mitchell just isn’t very good

If you get the Cardwell towards the end of his loan here he will spend more time touching his hair than the ball.

That could be down to PE teacher Steve though.

One players ability i’m sure we all can agree on Chessie fans is Stefan Payne - Shite.
Yeaaa..... I tried to get on board with that one. I did try. He showed a couple of small glimpses early on, but nothing other than that. He looks a bit overweight to me? Especially his thighs, they make it look difficult for him to run, because they're so chonky. Not that he does much running, he's very idle. Think Rowe will file that one in the shit pile and look to get rid ASAP, and you wonder if that will be it for his career tbh..

I really don’t get the point in him, I reckon he’s got more yellow cards than bloody appearances that lad!
I may be the minority here, but I think when he starts games he creates more space for kabby because he's such a shithouse. Agree he never looks like scoring but his link up and hold up play is OK. If he stopped getting stupid yellow cards he'd be useful in this league. Just my opinion. I appreciate he's not loved by most of our fans.

He only adds nuisance value. No goal threat, no real aerial ability despite being 6 foot 2 and definitely no skill. He works hard, runs about a lot and makes clumsy challenges. Way down on the pecking order here and definitely not good enough to start.

Yeah he puts himself about mate 100%, but now Asante is back fit and it looks like Cardwell is coming then I wouldn’t expect to see Payne anywhere near any starting XI tbf!

Denton is finished, even when he gets himself back fit his body literally cannot withstand the physical demands Rowe expects in training and games so it’s just inevitable he goes and gets injured again. I really think we should put him on an alternate training programme if we realistically want to keep and use him… let’s face it all he will ever be able to do is win headers so why try and get him fit to press / run when he isn’t capable of it :dk:
Mark my words Tom Denton is an absolute certainty to return to Alfreton to play under his mate Billy Heath

True enough but if you get the one at the start of his loan then he’s a good NL targetman.

One thing I will say is that he works hard but tires very easily so was pretty useless after 65 minutes but I shouldn’t imagine there will be many 90 mins outings for him at Chesterfield.

Not sure where the rumour has come from so could be rubbish but we’re being linked with Armstrong and Stockton.

Not sure we need either of them. Maybe we’re joining the beef game and inflating prices for Wrexham who you’d think would be a more likely destination for either of them.

Surely you’d take him off the back of the last couple of seasons?

The stronger rumours for us seem to be for Luke Armstrong having investigated but it’s all Twitter talk at the moment.

I've always liked Stockton but I didn't really see much of him when he was at Carlisle, Tranmere the second time or Wrexham but when he first came through at Tranmere and the last few seasons for Morecambe he's always looked great whenever I've seen him.

Haway lads, I know we wiped the floor with yers in the playoffs and your clearly trying to emulate us but turning yourselves into Pools is not the answer, get your own identity eh?

Armstrong would be a ridiculous signing.

He only joined Harrogate for a fee last summer, has banged in quite a few goals, and they just loaned out Orsi to Borehamwood.

Would take a bonkers fee - even for this NL season - surely

We don't need Armstrong at all IMO. We can't even get Quigley, Madden and Crankshaw in the same team at the moment.

I would also have no idea how I would input it into the Excel sheet and keep us 4th in the budget table. Will probably find a way.

See Liam McAlinden for further proof of these type of bluffers who somehow look good playing for tinpotters. Played for promotion-winning Morecambe last season in League Two yet is actually very, very crap.

I could have told you McAlinden wasn’t very good.

He hardly got a look in here, players improve.

He wasn't fit the entire time he was with us and that's a feature of Stocktons career.

When he's fit and on form he's pretty good- he was really good with Tranmere the first time and he seems to be on form at the moment but he's had significant chunks of his Career where that isn't the case. There are better options.
