Are Wrexham still after Palmer.I know I said we should keep him but I've not been impressed with him recently. If a decent offer was made for him I'd be tempted to let him go.No idea if he wants to go.I know our manager wants to keep him .He can be a real handful at time's.

Someone our ITKs have mentioned him recently so it seems we are. But then again I think they are mostly making stuff up and don't really know.

There's no smoke without fire and he has been mentioned a lot, links to him and Oliver look to mean we are certainly after a certain type of striker.

It sounds like we may have missed out or are struggling with some of our initial targets, whether one of those was Palmer, or he is a plan B we have moved onto I have no idea.

Wild says he wants 3 additions and we are on track to the get them. Verbal agreements but nothing finalised yet. Also reiterated that nobody will be leaving us in this transfer window

Apparently Warburton is on a 2 year deal aswell which is brilliant business from us. Such a smart footballer. Got better as the season has gone on. best thing since sliced bread I heard;)

No, but no sign of him at York Road yesterday and he wasn't sitting in the stand with our other injured players.

Haha really, there's a blast from the past. He's an handful to be fair, big strong lad, good in air, but he's not the most technically gifted of players. Done better than I thought he would after leaving us I must admit. Clear the type of player you're trying to get in

indeed!

whenever i have seen him on the EFL highlights he was always involved for Blackpool and seems good with his feet as well as his head

Yea, he's alright, on his day he's a real pest, often drawing a couple players to him. He's not going to score a bunch for you, although it looks like he hit a real purple patch for Blackpool a couple years ago. He'd create space for Mullin without doubt, but I'm not sure he's smart enough to set him up all that often once he's done it. His weakest thing with us was always his decision making

Proper enigma. Chucks in the odd brilliant performance or moment of brilliance but on the whole he’s a bit of an awkward footballer. Missed chances you expect him to score then scores a worldie. Would be a decent signing at this level but not a brilliant one IMO.

Apologies I think my current Covid infection is at the point where it’s sending me a bit do-lally to the point where I think these puns of mine are actually funny. :animatedf: :bg:

A 2 year deal means it will take a lot of dough for someone else to get him.
Warburton easily looked like their best player to me, pretty sure he'll rise to any new challenges that come along.

After that Ken Stott incident, I'm wondering what other niche puns I've been missing?

Husin looked technically decent at times, but pretty lightweight. Did score an absolute worldie against Crewe at ML though in front of 17k when it was a quid for a ticket or something, plus another good goal in the cup at Swansea a week later

Aye Husin was obviously technically decent but got bullied out of games quite easily.
