Jamie Sendles-White now training with us.
Taylor-Sinclair is not with us anymore. Coulthirst picked up an injury so imagine he isn't around anymore either.

Interesting - was quite excited when he joined us last season as looked a good signing. In reality he was very average for this level, kept getting dropped (despite being our captain) and not too many complaints when he released at the end of the season.

Obviously a while ago now, but Rodrigues has given an interview to a Dutch paper about his time at Notts and said we rejected an offer for him from one of the clubs relegated to League One in the summer. Was a risk signing him on a three year deal, but looks like it’ll work out, reckon he’ll earned us a nice fee next summer (rather than January, hopefully).

Accidentally put this in the League Two forum but strong rumours we’re about to sign Antoni Sarcevic.

Grimsby will be gutted, just when they thought the title was theirs, Stockport whisk it away from them.

There's still the playoffs lads.

Title was never ours, still expect you to spend millions in Jan and overtake everyone

Stockport seem weirdly determined that Rusk is going to succeed. Be much cheaper just to sack him.

I mean the bloke is only 29 and still a regular starter (and captain) for Bolton.

Getting silly now.

Their forum seems to be all over it but I can't see the rumour anywhere else. Wonder if a few of them have got together and decided to spread this rumour for the sheer bantz.

Probably the best ITK on there is going with it, with experience if he's saying it could happen, it does have legs.

Wasn't there a Bolton fan saying he was injured atm or something? Surely that would hold it up.

He was on the bench the other night I think. Weirdly the first person to tweet it today was that weird ‘non-league ITK’ troll account, followed shortly after by a piece on footballinsider247

The best ITK is now saying it's a done deal.

Sounds like Mark Stott has gone into the Reebok and raided them tbh. Ian Evatt and the admin girl hands above their heads type stuff. It is a different knock when Stott and Rusk come to people's doors. Sam Allardyce will be turning in his grave here.

He'll be getting it from our forum. Our best ITK is saying it's done.

Rumours Rooney may go on loan the other way?

It would be a yes from me tbh.

I know he’s worked with Evatt before, but Rooney would surely be shit at League One level? He couldn’t move until January anyway.

Alex Hunt > Ben Fox > Antoni Sarcevic > Giles Coke

I think we'll be fine without spunking hundreds of thousands of pounds on a CM from a few divisions above.

That's an outrageous deal. Enjoy winning the title.

We can't even respond to signings like that until January.

Yeah we don't want to let the cat out the bag before the deal is done though mate. Rooney's not even that good at this level. A good player but a highlights reel man. Scores some fantastic goals, will make some superb passes which will always make the highlight but I've never seen him run a game from midfield even at this level.

Hopefully this Sarcevic can because that is what we need.

If this happens can we all agree to go on the league 1 forum for a day and wind Masi51 up about how he chose Stockport over Bolton because they are a much bigger club or some other bollocks like that Pleeeaaaaase? :bg:

It's outrageous in that he's gonna cost them a shitload. Let's not go overboard though, Sarcevic is often injured and a bit overrated from what I've seen. He just scores a reasonable amount and gets assists and has a fancy name. Struggled against a midfield of Terry Taylor, Danny Rose and George Williams vs us last season. Like the Mullin signing, yes he's got enough ability to be a very good player at this level but I'd be concerned about this from a financial sense if I'm a Stockport fan, risky signing in my opinion.

Some fans are concerned, in fact all fans are concerned because we know what can happen and has happened. Our owner is loaded though. He owns the club and is spending his money on it. He's invested in plenty off the pitch on infastructure etc that will stand the test of time better than any transfer deal tbh. If he wasn't doing that, I'd be more concerned. He's revamped everything, from the academy to the stadium etc. The plans are all there.

As supporters, yes we have concern but lets have it right, we'd be be the first supporters in history to complain about an owner spending money on the team and the club. I know for a fact he's got it. Doesn't mean he'll keep spending it etc but this isn't money he's borrowed from the bank.

This is just getting ridiculous now. They'll still finish about 9th as well.

Yeah Rusk not getting the best out of it is still the main issue.

Rumours that during the The Raid of The Reebok™ Rusk turned around to Mark McGhee and asked if he should put his balaclava on now or when he got inside. McGhee mumbled something in inaudible Scottish.Which is why all the papers have found out about it and the fact he's coming to us.

That's a fair point, I guess it comes down to how likely it is that he'll just up sticks and piss off really. It's something that we also need to be concerned about, as any new ownership can be fragile. I think partly what would concern me is what you've touched upon further up when you're saying how your owner is really backing Rusk when in reality, you could have used this money going on Sarcevic to get rid of him and bring someone in that can get the best out of your current squad and identify cheaper transfer targets. I'm not basing this criticism of Rusk on anything other than the fact that he gets slated a fair bit by you lot on here, by the way.

I remember we were perennially linked with him every transfer window since his Fleetwood days

we would never stump up a fee for him, same as Jolley, and the infamous Hinckley No. 9.... (Andre Gray)

if only eh....

If Stott's got a blind faith in anyone, it's more the Director of Football, Simon Wilson.

Wilson got rid of Gannon and headhunted Rusk. Stott likes his football but he wouldn't have gone "hey what about the Brighton u23 manager, lads?" that is what he appoints Wilson for.

Stott could pressure Wilson to sack Rusk but Wilson would pick the replacement anyway.

Sounds like Sarcevic has had a big falling out with Evatt. Just don’t sign him in time for tomorrow please
