Stockport seem weirdly determined that Rusk is going to succeed. Be much cheaper just to sack him.
I’ve heard we are speaking to agents of potential successors. One name I heard who I believe is first choice and seems keen to take the job is at an EFL club atm and has a really successful track record at a few clubs. It would be a big coup if we got him.

Rusk was told he had to put a run of wins together after the Halifax game to save his job and even though we’ve been rubbish it’s four wins out of four so he’s clinging on.

Here's a random happening. We have an ex-Airdrie and MLS player called Andrew Barrowman on trial and yesterday his Uncle John (yes that one) came down to watch him training. Stuff Deadpool at Wrexham, this is proper celeb

Blackpool, Lincoln and Rotherham all interested in Rodrigues according to our local paper. He’ll go next summer whatever, but hopefully we can resist anything in January.

Depends on the money innit, obviously think he’d be very difficult/impossible to replace but as with occasions in the past where you’d sell a player and the money would evaporate, at least with the current owners they’d reinvest it back into new signings. Either way, plucking Ruben from the Dutch 2nd Division has been quite the feather in the cap for Reedtzball

Hang on, I am sure I read on social media a few weeks ago our recruitment was ‘terrible’, and ‘Moneyball doesn’t work’. Ah, that didn’t include Rodrigues and our two best players so far this season (Palmer and Cameron), I see.

Ipswich scouts were supposedly at the Bromley game, too. Although maybe they were watching Chris Bush.

Seems like both Rodrigues and Montsma have done well after their moves over here from the Dutch 2nd Division. It's a shame we can't look over there now because after Montsma's success, I think we'd go back looking.

Yep. Cheers Brexit! Hoping there might be a change in the rules at some point.

We have been linked with Tom Bradbury who plays for FC Halifax Town in January.
He’s ok. Good on the ball and left footed which is useful for balance of the team. Reasonable in the air too. He does have the occasional clanger in him though. I wouldn’t be devastated to lose him tbh. Much more important players in the side that clubs will/should be looking at.

Heard a rumour that we've turned down a bid from Chesterfield for Luke Waterfall.

Not sure we'll be paying a fee for anyone, despite the situation. The well has run a bit dry I think, hence us signing that lad who's not had a club for 6 months on a free (although he did alright yesterday). Yea I think we'll be mostly be sticking to the rivers and the lakes that we're used to right now

I thought i'd seen/heard somewhere we'd budgeted for crowds of around 4000 but have averaged over 5000 so far. I think the funds will be there if Rowe needs them but he likes playing his cards close to his chest.

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
We apparently budgeted for gates of 1800, but have averaged less than 1400. Despite being poverty stricken, the magic money tree has produced funds to sign up half a dozen more players.
Shit or bust ( again) , but this time to maintain our National status ?
Bust again is unthinkable ,but I fear so.

Be very surprised at that. Also no mention of this anywhere from our side that I’ve seen. No reason for him to leave you lot really.

Heard Town are trying to get a couple in this week, one guy from West Ham. We'll see what happens I guess.

According to Kings Lynn local rag reporter on Twitter were signing Junior Morais for a small fee. Think the manager and owners have realised we can’t be too cheap in the quality and size of squad this season if we want play offs.

With Gunning out till the new year, and Maguire not back till December, absolute no doubt about it that it’s going to be a centre back

Maybe following recent news of our £60k windfall, the club has put some of that towards much needed bolstering of the defensive ranks…

Any guesses who? Waterfall from Grimsby maybe after the apparent turned down bid last week? Or that defender from the famous ‘Heard Town FC’ that WhoWasFone has inside knowledge on!???

Weren’t you linked with the lad from Wednesday before we signed him? Wouldn’t be a surprise to see him go to you having been recalled.

I'd say there's more chance of us plaiting piss than signing Grimsby's best centre half. I assume it will be a CB although we could do with a RWB as backup for King with Carline being out for so long.

We’d have said same when we signed Tshimanga!! But yeah I get your point, Grimsby would be mental to sell him to us.

With it being a permanent incoming I’m not sure it’ll be the Wednesday lad? Ain’t he highly rated there (As every young player seems to be these days…)

Also agree on the RWB point but I think Rowe is content with Kellerman providing cover there if absolutely necessary. I don’t think Rowe is the type to like stop gap loans etc… I don’t think he trusts them to be as invested as they should be
