A forward needs to be priority, in whatever shape and size he comes, as long as they know where the back of the net is. It’s ridiculous how little we offer going forward. The biggest attacking threat is probably our left back.

Yep you never see any of the midfield three splitting defences with passes, it's all shunted back or out wide for Sterry/Ferguson. Teams are wise to that and its pretty easy to defend against as there's rarely anyone on the end of deliveries from wide areas.

The two bits of comforting news are that we had points in the bag early, and that there are three teams in Oldham, Scunthorpe, and Colchester who are no better than us. There's little to be cheerful about, cup runs have masked our inadequacies. Not out of danger by any means, we still need to win 5 or 6 league games and at this moment it's hard to see where they will come from.

Nah! It was a very annoyed person not a ranting person.

I started off liking his interviews but now they are normally the same. No info, no real thoughts on the game just the usual managers claptrap but said in a more strident voice.

Our players won their 'cup final' against Bradford and since then have now gone back to being shit as they're just back to playing the bread and butter teams in their minds.
So to only be able to fire themselves up for one match shows how poor they really are.

even when you sound down about the team you still sound 10 times happier with them than HG does though.....
