Not holding out much hope for us, but you never know. Maybe a freak early goal and the Derby fans will be on their back.

Very much a free hit for us at Blackpool tomorrow. Get in and get out without too much of a battering and we'll have done ok.

Two of our weakest performances last season came against Peterborough and the wheels fell off after losing on sky to these.

Would be nice to turn up against them tomorrow! Boosted with minutes into Ryan Loft and Uche who seemed to impress when he came on bullying Stevenage defenders so hopefully get another 45 from each, would like to see Thomas play off either but imagine we stick to our rigid formation.

Plant will need to be switched on against Poku who tore Benning apart last season but Plant's pace should help, JCH has been off form a bit but will need to be switched on with him.

A point again wouldn't be too bad but failure to win really puts a lot on the Cheltenham home game to get a win. A goal would be nice after 4 blanks.

Very wary of this one.

Under normal circumstances, I'd fancy our chances against an Appleton defence but we're even weaker up front now with losing Hackett on Saturday to a hamstring injury. Not even sure how we'll even attempt to try and construct any sort of attacks from what we have available. At least Hackett was a bit of an outlet at times but now we don't have anything.

Take a point and move on!

Our defence will gift you something but from what you’re saying, I’d fancy us to outscore you.

1-0 Lincoln it is then.

Good test for us tomorrow as Bolton visit Adams Park.

Broadly speaking we’ve been better away than at home whereas the reverse is true for them, not sure what that means for tomorrow though.

In the Ainsworth days we’d have just aimed to go for pure spoiling play against a side like this, but I expect us to at least try and keep it on the deck, and only go more hoofy if that doesn’t work - but we’ll see.

I guess I’d take a draw though.

Our record against Peterborough stinks generally. Even if they're in indifferent form, they usually turn it on against us and always look a strong team.

Our bubble has deflated somewhat. We're not playing badly but it just isn't quite clicking. I'm hoping that the work with two actual strikers on the training pitch will eventually bare fruit. We've also played 8 away against tough teams as opposed to 5 at home, so our position might be a little higher when that balances itself out.

Once we get the formula right, I think we'll be pretty strong but it's how long it takes to get that formula right.

I'd expect us to make one or two changes as its a 3 game week and Saturdays game with Barnsley would've taken its toll on one or two.

Still missing our two leaders Omar Beckles and Darren Pratley, so pleasing to see us picking points up with those two not in the side. Our away fixtures on paper look alot more favourable than our home fixtures in the coming 6 weeks.

We'll do no doubt what we usually against sides on a similar level to us and try to dominate possession, on Saturday we abandoned our playing out from the back and went more direct more often.

Only 13 goals scored inc the abandoned game we had, which had it concluded we'd be 7th having only scored 13 goals. We just don't put teams enough to the sword, but we do manage games well in general when we take the lead.

We never play well against Peterborough.
We rarely ever lost at home but mostly away to them in the past, gave them a few wallopings at Vale Park in the early 00s 5-0, 4-1, 3-0 for example.

We did have that mental 3-2 win at their place a couple of visits ago when we were 2-0 down and 2-1 down with a couple of minutes to go as well.

Can’t see anything other than a Burton win sadly.

We don’t score goals, and we can’t keep a clean sheet. Do the maths.

We didn't have a great 2nd half on Saturday, but hopefully the elation of the last min winner can spur us on. Bishop by his standards wasn't great. Missed 3 very good chances, but think he get affected by the international break and takes him a couple of games to get scoring. Each unbeaten match ramps up the pressure on us, hopefully we can keep the unbeaten run going away at Cambridge

You won away at Bolton ?
Hardly an easy feat.
We actually have looked a threat on the road at times. Still don’t score a lot but we actually get chances to waste.

At home however… I don’t know if it’s because teams are less open but we create absolutely nothing.

Both us and Orient have scored 12 goals so hardly prolific, cant see this being a high scoring affair with one goal probably winning it. We need a win to make sure we dont begin to get seperated from the bottom of the mid table pack. Avoiding relegation is 100% the aim this season but I hope we can stay amongst the larger pack for a period of time.

Injuries have still been a huge issue this season, we have around 7 out and are crying out for reinforcements at the top end of the pitch in terms of quality and numbers.

Going for a narrow 1-0 with Super Sam the goalscorer.

After losing to a side who hadn’t won all season and only scored once in the league previously at the weekend, we now face a Portsmouth team unbeaten since 2012 (or so it seems). It’d be just the sort of thing for us to do to go and win tonight. But realistically we’re gonna get hammered. 0-3 I reckon.

I have no doubt others have it worse! To be honest its not as bad as it was at the back end of last season. I think for us its more an issue that we are already a team that should be fighting relegation. In order for us to have the best chance of staying up we need our best players available which currently they are not.

That being said, I dont criticise Brady for much at all during his tenure here. But the squad is currently inbalanced due to signing a few crocks, we have too many defenders and too few forwards even if everyone was available.

Not to sound too Monty Python but from January onwards last year we had a minimum of 10 players out. 7 is a luxury in comparison.

Have I mentioned before last season we started the season with one striker with one hip and a youth midfielder up front, then had 2 months with no strikers at all after Xmas and finished the last 3 months of the season with the same three largely useless centre halves?

For a club that’s played with wingbacks for about 2 and a half years now we sure seem to play a lot of games without specialists at the position on both sides and that’s true even if they’re all fit. Not sure what Josh Thomas has to do to get game time either. Swansea will recall him if we’re not careful.

Mitch is a wing back at least so one more than usual! I assume Massey is in for his pace against their wingers.

Not against Loft getting more minutes but we need to start scoring!

No Bishop as well as Hackett. Looks like we've pushed our right wing back up to into attack, so our front three is a central midfielder, transfer listed winger and a right wing back.

So after the weekends non penalty makes national news tonight Garrity gets wiped out, needs treatment and gets booked for diving. Just feels a waste of time.

Overall though same game as recently, some lovely football but zero up top and one bollock up at the back to gift a lead.

If you’re playing a good team like Peterborough you need to at least show some degree of intent as they’ll make you pay. Eventually started playing after we went a goal behind but even so you can’t get away with doing that. One very loud penalty appeal, down the other end so will reserve judgement on that but let’s say you’ve seen them given…

Stunk of Bolton, showing too much respect.
