Sky TV bonanza to feast your eyes upon whilst eating your Sunday roast.
Mk not won at home in 11 games stretching back to March , Vale atrocious away from home.
Given the fact Vale are rather charitable to teams on bad runs as the Coventry result confirmed i fear the worst. Rare that we get anything here, i went when we were 3-0 down in the pouring rain after about 25 minutes about 3 seasons ago .
The last time we were there was the end of Chris Lines Vale career after he ' hit ' Dele Alli who went down like a sniper had shot him from the stands.
Feel this month is going to define our season, somehow we got to start getting results away from home but on this occasion it's a 3-1 home win for me.

That Chris Lines "head butt" was hilarious. Dele was so late to react to it, it was a red card, but poor play acting.

Anyway, we aren't going to score 3 at home so don't worry about that, we have the worst home form in England.

I am going for a frustrating loss.

MK Dons 1-2 Port Vale.

Luckily I have to work and will miss the game, please let this be the straw what breaks the camels back and gets Robinson the sack.

Lord knows, we have been dire both previous visits to MK, luckily I can suffer this one on my sofa.

We usually help teams on bad runs but I will go for a 1-1.

Apparently wearing our sexy 3rd kit which considering we have lost every game in our yellow away one might be a boost!

If I had any sense I'd sit at home and watch this on tv, but I haven't so will be wasting time and money driving down to watch another away defeat.

We have the worst home form in the football league. You'll be fine.

If we can wear our red kit and pretend we are away then we will smash Vale, but we'll wear white and it'll be a 0-0 snoozefest

Robinsons interview is funny about our foreigners from the likes of Porto relishing Stadium MK and our continental players being unique and loads of diving etc...

He can't have done much scouting from our league games where in general only Knopps (big Dutch centre half/left back) and Tavares (banned on Sunday!) have been regular starters!

Likely start with 2 foreign players Sunday max maybe 1 if Knopps doesn't come back in at left back and Amoros/Perreira for Tavares (could potentially not even play any if we elect to go 4-4-2)

Not sure what the issue is there. He says. Ribiero has "bought a continental style" not that they're full of foreigners. :conf:

That's true, isn't it?

Talks about players from the likes of Porto playing... there will be none.

Massive misconception about us because we signed a load of foreign players.

Expecting us to line up

Alnwick

Purkiss
Streete
Smith
Knops

Hart
Amoros
Grant
Foley
Jones

Paterson

Unless Jerome Thomas is fit who may go in and Hart and Knops fight for LB

Our style is very similar to MK in recent years (not sure what your like now?) pass out from the back but a bit more physical in the middle.

We were never going to keep winning at home and have a tendency to be generous to struggling teams so as embarrassing as last week was I'm not going to start worrying about our home form just yet. However, our away form has been shoddy at best so i can't see beyond an MK win tomorrow

What on earth is Lewington doing there? Jones sticks the penalty away for Vale on the rebound, against the run of play.

I can't help but laugh at how many empty seats there are in the ground and how massively oversized the stadium is for MK

We seem to be playing ok since the goal. I think Lewington will definitely want that one back,

Danger time for Vale will be just before the half time whistle, a couple of times this year we've switched off defensively then.

See the away problem in that we play ourselves into so much trouble at the back over playing it. Most teams at Vale Park don't press as high and MK only real threat so far has been from our errors but battled it out and well done Jones burying the rebound. Since the goal probably been the better side.
