This is disrespectful to a player who won them their 20th.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
What's the source? Does seem a bit iffy as he's a player with a market value so just bunging him on the transfer list would do the job.

Rubbish

It'd be v stupid if this was true -- (which it isn't). V. persie is still a top player when fit imo

I suspect he's off to Italy this summer. Maybe Bayern will look for a top class backup to Lewandowski.

Shame about his injuries; a fully fit career with Arsenal and he'd be leaving the league as one of its best ever strikers. He's a bit of a cocky lad, but I don't hold much ill will to him for leaving Arsenal when he did. Ultimately, it worked out for all parties involved.

As with most rumours, until I see it confirmed by a trusted source, consider it covered in a mountain of salt.

Are you suggesting that the great Adrian Durham isn't the pinnacle of journalistic integrity?
