Unpopular Gaming Opinions

Thought this would be an interesting thread.

Here are some of mine.

- Crash Bandicoot 1 is the best Crash Bandicoot because the platforming was the most fun despite the levels being very linear and it had a much bigger challenge than 2 and 3 if you wanted 100%.

- The PS1 has a better game library than the PS3

- Pikmin is one of the best Nintendo series.

- FIFA 2010 WC is the best FIFA game in the series.

Not sure if this is unpopular enough, but Red Dead Redemption is the best Rockstar game.

Agree above about Final Fantasy being shit, never got into it at all and it seems to be the main example of a great RPG. I quite like RPG games too so it's not that the genre puts me off.

Oh yeah, speaking of Halo... something that's certainly an unpopular point of view on here:

Halo is the absolute best that console multiplayer FPS games have ever been and nothing else has ever even come close.

The Wind Waker is better than Ocarina of Time.

Yes to this. Wind Waker is the best Zelda by a mile. In fact, I actually reckon that the rest of the Zelda game's aren't anywhere near as good as people say.

Xbox 360 has the best gaming controller.

Xbox Ones is far better. But yeah, on that note I'd say that the Xbox Ones controller is the best ever... though I guess anybody who's actually got an xbox one already knows this, so it's probably not an unpopular opinion in that sense.

Let's get some other opinions in there:

The Call of Duty games are actually very good. Even the campaigns, most of the time.

The MAKO stuff on Mass Effect wasn't that bad.

Assassins Creed: Brotherhood was the pinnacle of that series and it's not come close since.

Liked for the Brotherhood comment Oaf, better than the excellent ACII and no sequel has got close to it since.

For what it's worth, I think Super Mario Sunshine is the best game on the Gamecube.

This. Nothing against Mario, but Pikmin was really enjoyable for me. The only 2 Nintendo Series I would really bother for these days are Pikmin and Zelda.
