To be fair the pitch has held up very well since we put the new drainage in but been a lot of rain in recent weeks.

Shame as fancied us to finally win against Swindon today with our home form.

Been raining all week and most of last night and heavy rain forcast this afternoon. Better callied off now when most of the away fans are here,

Reading between the lines it sounds as though it was still just playable but P-P based on the forecast to save the Swindon fans a wasted journey.

Why is it the only game off though? When I lived in Stoke I remember games been called off when not elsewhere. Is it the grounds man ? It must be disappointing given they have no manager and a chance to beat them and kick on closer to the play offs

Probably best, killing fields of Burslem have claimed enough careers at the best of times.

We've massively improved the drainage, 3 weeks ago games fell nearby but after multiple inspections ours survived so a strange one.
