Anybody else spot dazzling irony of a recent post.

I fear Chief won't spot it himself.
Our home attendances have increased because we're going through some very good times as a club (and attendances have risen pretty much everywhere since Covid). We all know why everyone else is turning out in high numbers to see us, let's not pretend.

Where's the irony?

Yet another tough task for mansfield with one visit of inform salford, who’ve not lost since new year’s day apparently.

Good manager, tricky side, not an easy game.

Time of year mansfield start fucking up.

Away win.

MK Dons had a higher than normal attendance because of the effect of Mr Reynolds and his +1? Gotcha. Sounds familiar.

Wrexham's attendances have increased because of effect of Mr Reynolds and his +1 on your club.

Gillingham announce they've sold out for our visit on Saturday. Another Cup Final then.

I imagine the pitch at Field Mill currently resembles a bayou.

Not much brain activity going on here.

I didn't expect you to spot the irony and you didn't disappoint.

Probably best if you go back to taking shots at other clubs home and away attendances now Ryan and Rob are involved.

Looks like pretty persistent rain for the next few days, we're going to have a lot of soggy Welshies in ME7 this weekend.

This is the first game i'm missing which is sad as its the longest trip and a lad in the next street to my parents is a Gills fan but if its given to piddle down, rather glad i'm not going!

Sounds like we're going to be missing a few for the Barrow trip. Kelly injured last night and Smallwood serving the last game of his suspension. No Young, Walker, Pattison, Richards and Platt.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Last night will have taken it out of them and a very short turnaround with a tired and stretched squad could see a comfortable defeat here.

Yep. McDonald will be knackered and Gilly is gonna have to slot back into midfield, isn't he? I hope Richards is fit because he's twice the player Ridehalgh is. Kelly and Platt will be big misses. Still find it baffling we didn't bring in another centre-mid in Jan.

Didn’t think Crewe were much cop at all in the first game so I’m surprised at the run they’ve gone on since.

Robertson and Warner properly bedded in now so surely we’ve got to win one against someone who’s any good??

Yes we were unlucky not to pick up a well deserved point at Gresty Road.

However they won away at Stockport very recently and Mansfield so they come across pretty handy to me. League table is also a big clue.

We need some gimme games for the new man in charge and he just hasn't had any yet.

Still got nightmares about getting battered by Salford last season, they definitely got a ‘new manager bounce’ having not lost in 8 now.

We conceded against them earlier in the season due to Smith Peeling off our CBs and ended up being marked by MacDonald so we need to be careful. I’d like to say I would take a point but being second in the league at home I feel like that’s not good enough.

Tough games for 3 of the top 4 today.

Stockport with a home banker against Swindon which will give them breathing space come 5pm.

A phrase you'll hear often today is "it's only Swindon".

People will be saying things like "oh Swindon Town are absolutely shit aren't they"

Someone will pipe up saying that they didn't even know they were still going as a club because they've not done anything of note for years.

All these comments are extremely disrespectful and they will not be uttered on my watch.

It is only Swindon, though.

I'll do predictions for the other teams ( I don't predict our games)
Mansfield 2-1 Salford
Gillingham 0-3 Wrexham
Notts 3-2 Crewe
MK Dons 2-0 Newport

The rest I don't care about

Better to have done stuff in the past than never to have done fuck all - ever.

1-0 Notts, dubiously bundled in by Jatta’s hand in injury time.
