If we're playing well and winning in not overly concerned if Jones is only peripheral. Still twenty games to go and it's hard not to believe he'll be in the starting eleven before long.
Should be looking to beat Bromley but it doesn't happen too often.
Didn’t perform v Colchester, Woody wasn’t happy, anticipating a reaction. Would take a point right now.

Harrogate at home, not that it makes any difference, we don’t beat Harrogate

I rate Woodman, very effective and shrewd manager and I'm a bit worried about Kabamba who gave us problems a couple of years ago when he was at Barnet and Cheek has stepped up a division easily enough.
If we're hoping for top three or even top five these are the kind of tricky games we need to get over the line in.

Tough game at Chesterfield. I think they've got a pretty decent squad, albeit hampered by injuries. I still think they'll be strong at home. 7 points from 9 for us, so hopefully we've got past our absolute stinkers.

Garrity is such a huge player and influence for us. In the top 5 best players in the division for me...he's incessant and often outruns the opposition. One of our greatest buys of recent years. Harper also showed he's a good player in the second half yesterday. Byers likely on the bench I think.

Tolaj has found his ideal position and will cause problems with his movement. The two wingbacks were excellent and give us balance and threat.

It's likely to be a classic Moore away performance. If we go 1 up, expect us to sit in, let Chesterfield have all the ball and we just shut them down. Our issue comes when we go a goal down.

I'd take a draw and target a win at Colchester.

Rovers v Gills. Two sides right down the bottom of the form table. I tipped the visitors to be in the top seven, but another manager not delivering and they've slid down the table. New boss John Coleman was at our last home game v Carlisle, unclear if he had been sounded out then. Losing at home not the best start in his new job. Elliott Nevitt looks like he should have stayed at Crewe but will still be up for scoring against us.

Rovers home form is what's just keeping our heads above water, but with now sign of any change in personnel or management and another dire away game, I'm not hopeful for this one.

Salford at home - I really don't know what to expect.

They were on a great run of form, but a dicking by Man City and then a 2-0 loss to Fleetwood last week means that's come to an end. We have been dreadful in our last couple of games though.

We really need to get back to winning ways, but I'm not confident to be honest.

Walsall (h) - toughie!

We welcome runaway leaders Walsall to Valley Parade this weekend.

They’re top for a reason. They’re not just winning, they’re scoring - a lot!

Lapslie, Leigh, Khela and Mellon will be chomping at the ‘bit, but it should be the same XI as the weekend.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see us win this, then lose to Morecambe next Tues.

I’d take a draw.

3-3

Weather wise it's a s...day at Fleetwood, hopefully improve later. Interesting game against MK tonight and we'll see if the Cods can put 2 wins together. Certainly have Wiredu/Bonds back has helped
Maybe a narrow win, probably a draw, hopefully no defeat - how's that for hedging your bets !

Fleetwood Town tonight in the first catch up of three postponed games. Lindsey has made a number of changes since Saturday including swapping over our GK, CM partnership and LWB (thankfully as it was all needed). Need the 3 points if we are to remain in the automatic promotion chase.

Worst mini brawl ever. Probably the only entertaining bit of the match so far tbh.

More fight than we usually show in these northern Tuesday night away trips. Satisfied.

Not sure why the Fleetwood player reacted. Was a great, thumping challenge from your player.

Make your mind up Carver Scum.
It’s the hope that kills you. 1-0 down, shaping up to be a classic bottle job Tuesday night away performance from us.

At least we’ve had 73% of the ball. Done nothing with it, but that’s a moot point.

We can kick the long ball down towards the giants in their back row all night but March is never going to win the header.

Not sure how Flanagan didn't see red, he's not played the ball and he seems to deny March a goalscoring opportunity.

Entirely possible at this rate we end up with a third manager before the end of the season.

Money doesn’t buy happiness. Fuck knows but we have a top 3 team on paper currently in 12th.

You don’t have a top three team on paper though.

Did I mention this is our worst ever season in our club’s illustrious history? Never have we before set our sights below at least the lofty perch of 4th in L2.

We were tipped to win the league or at least finish in the top 3 by just about every expert and fan going, and then we have recently “strengthened”…and now we’re 12th. Clearly we don’t but let’s not pretend we’re not massively underperforming.

They were the best team outside the top three last season and have spent a fortune to improve their side. I would make them the best squad in the league. Majorly underperforming.

I noticed Steve Lindsey got new teeth for his big new job too.

I'd say you have top three in terms of talented players, quite probably the best in fact. Does appear though a lot of the players have been signed more in terms of just collecting talent than building a team with them and the two things are very different. Definitely under-performing, I certainly had you winning the whole thing. Does show throwing money at it isn't necessarily the answer.

Half of their team either played for Crawley, who finished seventh, or Notts, who finished fourteenth, last season. They’re clearly underperforming but I think that it’s just because they’ve spent lots of money on them rather than who is actually there that has people expecting big things of them (I was probably taken in by it in the summer tbf).

They also lost Dean, Bate and Payne at the end of last season, all really good players and better than anyone they’ve brought in to replace them.
