Yeah, creative thread title innnit! Or is it the Flitcroft deby? Dunno.
Bury have got some much needed form at just the right time, winning their last 2 at home. Not looked all that convincing mind, they were 2-0 down at the weekend before Col U had a man sent off and totally collapsed. Another 3 points here would put them within touching distance of safety though.
As for Barnsley, 8 wins in their last 9 in the league. They are now within reach of the play off spots. Big game for them tonight, a win puts them 8th and just 4 points off Coventry. A draw wouldn't be a disaster, but a defeat might kill their play off hopes.
So interesting game for both teams. As an aside, mad to think that these 2 clubs, who've both been in tiers 2-4 of the league for the last 30 odd years, have only played each other 5 times since 1980.
