Big game for both teams, Watford will want to consolidate their middtable position and Norwich will be desperate to put a bigger safety margin between themselves and 18th and pick up their first away win since August. I reckon Watford will take a close game.
Good deserved win today - but for some excellent goalkeeping by Rudd it would have been more - he made 3/4 great saves from Ighalo one on one - Bassong had a nightmare against Iggy.
In each department we were solid and played with confidence considering the tough conditions.
Norwich didn't really create much and apart from Brady lacked any real threat despite bringing on 2 strikers (although was taking off a Redmond a mistake?)
Hopefully get another good result at Sunderland before a tough (on paper) run of fixtures over Christmas.
I went. Dreadful Norwich performance today, the worst I've ever seen them play (and I went to Wigan at home last season). No creativity, no drive and, dare I say it, no fight. Ok I'll exempt Mbokani from that last point when he came on and Brady did work hard even if quality was lacking. But overall it was the epitome of "non-performance".
The teams that seem to stay up in this division are those that attack and win games, not those that sit back and don't creatanything. That was a very disappointing away day to be a part of. After the excellent draw last Sunday, that display makes no sense. Watford fully deserved the win and could easily have been more.
