From a fan of the smallest club to ever reach the top flight to probably the second smallest, well done. We've gone in very different directions since that JPT final. When I felt we were probably two similar sized teams. Don't begrudge you your success though.

Congratulations to Brentford, well-deserved after coming so close last year and recovering from selling key players to finish 3rd again this year.

Though, surely Bournemouth would also be firmly in contention for second-smallest club to ever play top-flight football, especially now that Brentford have the larger ground and can attract larger crowds.

Yes well done Brentford. It's hard to believe that we were in the same division 16 years ago and now we are 5 divisions below you.

Well deserved praise and talk from Newcastle fans, we got on very well with them here, unusual for London area clubs visiting most of whom's self adoration is a source of humour and irritation with Newcastle fans. West Ham fans as OK though. Hope Brentford survive but not at our expense

Shouldn't it go on the populations of the town/city the club play in? The poulatiion of Bournemouth for instance must be knocking on for 200,000. Carlisle is only about 75,000. Brentford's populatioin is nearly 275,000.

I doubt Brentfords population is 250,000, that would make it a city in its own right.
