A guid dram
Fancy WHU today to win this, but every time I do predict someone to beat that other lot it doesn't come off so I'll put my official prediction as a draw, 2 - 2, but I really think WHU will win if they turn up.

They won't win if they play anything like against us.

No, there's still about £30m of your money stinking all over them.

Hate Weat Ham away even though we've a decent record there. If we plan on battling this out in midfield we'll lose and lose handily. I'd play Fellaini in an advanced role to give Sam something to think about.

Id would rather see Januzaj as the number ten and Di Maria as the left central midfielder but it could be either.

Tomkins and Kouyate at CB. Time to stick my wages on Man Utd winning!
Kouyate played more often than not in Belgium at cb, so im sure he'll do ok.

Happy to see Valencia and Sakho upfront again, we're a better team and play better football when Carroll isn't there.

Awful dive from Enner Valencia there.

West Ham edged the first half, they still only managed to test De Gea once though, from that free kick. We've been predictably impotent so far.

Man United are horribly balanced. Rooney is truly ineffectual in midfield. He lacks the guile or speed of thought to play the strikers in. his sole intention seems to be a raking cross field ball, slowing the play down.

From a neutral perspective, it seems that a more balanced United side would be

DDG
Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
Blind Herrera
Janusaz Mata Di Maria
Rooney

West Ham unsurprisingly winning the physical/aerial battle.
Would have gone with Smalling and Felliani in the united team today if I was LVG.

He's trying to juggle too many big name attackers and, yeah, we are always unbalanced as a result. Di Maria, Rooney, Van Persie, Falcao etc etc

United are just chronic and mind numbing to watch. The genius that is Van Gaal still doesn't know how to set up a balanced team. 2 past it star strikers up top who cannot run and the best striker they have is in midfield doing nothing. Midfielders who could affect the game positively are on the bench, as is the only striker who can run. But they have a world class keeper, that is worth a hell of a lot as we can see.

I always assumed (apparently wrongly) a key reason behind Van Gaals appointment was that we wouldn't care about big names. Instead he's trying to play them all.

Awkward deflection but the fact that Kouyate had time to juggle the ball and choose his time to shoot showed up our poor defending there.

That goal was coming and well deserved. horrible defending. Not only letting him take 3 free touches, but blind and Rooney both turning their back on the ball directly in front of De Gea.

It's no surprise De Gea hasn't signed a new contract. Why would he want to play for this dross longer than contractualy obliged?
