I didn't see the game - thankfully - but listened to the commentary and we were total rubbish, well done to Watford on their deserved win and apologies to any away supporters who got caught up with the outbreaks of fighting in the stadium due to the Neanderthal like attitude of some of the so called home supporters, I want the old clapped out Boleyn ground back!
That was a brilliant performance, West Ham were clinical where we weren't in the first 20 minuites, it could easily have been 2-2 at that point but to come back from two nil down the way we did showed great character. Second half performance was immense, if we took all our chances we could have had 5.
I quite liked the Olympic stadium but the way the fans acted was disgraceful. You had the dark ages mob that kept throwing missiles and trying to fight our fans and at the same time you had the arsenal like mob that were leaving with 20 minuites to go.
Just how empty the ground was in the 80th minuite was pathetic, especially considering how shaky our defence looked at points in that game. The fact that they blasted music at full volume the moment the final whistle was blown to attempt to drown out the booing tells a story.
Either way a great day I never expected us to score 4 goals at. That's 4 more points than I was expecting from our opening 5 games and we've only got Man U before we've got through our horror start.
Well didn't expect that after 35 minutes (although we still looked dangerous in attack at times) but what a turn around!
Great goal by Deeney and generally some excellent football in the 2nd half with a number of chances created to go along with the 2 goals we got.
Walter says he changed things at half time and that certainly paid off - lots of attacking intent and the likes of Success/Okaka came on and contributed well (shame the latter then had to go off injured)
After a slow and shaky start a fantastic result to gain our first win.
That was a completely different game after 35 mins, I think that the turning point was your 2nd goal, up to then we looked quite comfortable but that changed the game completely. Really dissapoining all round what with our fans fighting yours- what was that even about? And also the way in which we almost gave up in the 2nd half, you could've had about 5 or 6 in all.
Yep, I'm not exactly looking forward to playing Chelsea and Spurs. We brought some of the trouble on ourselves with standing up and then abusing the stewards leading to a few people getting kicked out, it hasn't been a smooth transition so far...
There was zero segregation when we went there. Going to be so many incidents like that this season, because it's just so shoddily organised.
West ham fans are going to be fighting each other most of the time by the sounds of it anyway. Upton Park was a better football experience in absolutely every way.
