RefWatch; Ref for the Fleetwood game is Lee Swabey, 32, a sports centre manager from Plymouth. FL ref since last year, and this is his first game of the season due to injury. Absolute doppelganger of a young Johnny Hartson - receding ginger hair, little piggy eyes, cheap shitty tattoo - he's a proper Janner. Says he's 'training hard to get his fitness back' and his morning gym routine has 'sweat running down his face at 6am'. That's wonderful Lee, and I'm sure I speak for Wombles everywhere by saying the day doesn't really start for us until someone has something warm and wet dripping down their fucking chin. Card happy chappy - in 31 games last season he gave 98Y & 11R - very high R.
Reffed Wombles twice; 1-1 draw at Huish Park in Sept '15 (1Y) & 2-0 win at Grecians in Dec '15 (3Y). Reffed Fleetwood once; 2-2 draw away to Southend last April (1Y). Hates the scum. Never reffed them. Hates them. Ah, the scum. Broke, clueless crook of a chairman, shit team, shit fans, God, I'm loving this season so much.
AnagramWatch; Lee Swabey, Plymouth = A Mouthy Belly Weeps.
KettleWatch; Two months after reffing the 3-3 away draw v Spireites our Trevor is reffing Gills again, this time at Priestfield for the Rochdale game. Only gave a pathetic 2Y and no pens at Gresty Road last night, but don't worry Gills fans, I'm sure he'll be back to his normal self on Saturday.
