Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

Why wouldn't you?

I went out with a Blackpool fan and watched the Derby with her 2 years ago in a bar in Egypt. She didn't speak to me for a day afterwards like. Probably because me and my cousin ran around the bar screaming after our 87th minute winner

I remember we played Northampton away at Sixfields in 2012 I think it was. Someone I vaguely know turned up with his bird on his arm - bear in mind this is Northampton Town vs Dagenham & Redbridge - ON NEW YEARS DAY, this was never going to end well. We lost 3-1, she froze and he went back into his shell and I think he's been seen once in the last three years.

No chance, she would be horrified at the tinpottedness of it all.

It depends.

Are Keys and Gray within a ten mile radius of the ground?

No she isn't interested. I did take her dad once though to a Tranmere game, he's from Canada and was over here for two weeks. She thought it would be a good idea for me and him to get to know each other a bit better, so I took him to Tranmere Newport on a Tuesday night. He loved it.

I do want to take me missus to a game at Field Mill when I finally get round to taking her back to the UK with me. It was part of my life back home so why not?

Might be a bit of a culture shock for her at first though, being Chinese and that. Probably never been anywhere so quiet or with so many empty seats.

I've always wanted a chinese missus...Still got 3 more wife slots open apparently, so there's still hope. I'd lose both my testicles to her sharp kitchen utensils before it'd happen, but a guy can dream, right. :ohn:

Oh, and I'd never take the other half anywhere I'd expect to be heavily on the piss. I'd feel so restricted. No fun.

Genuinely laughed at that mate. You crazy Muslims!

You CAN dream! Eunuchs were pretty common back in the day in China.

Good point. But not coz mine would be telling me to behave. She'd be well up for drinking, until she got drunk after about a pint. Might have to rethink this.

Can totally relate here, she doesn't drink anymore (more into the being a Muslim thing now) but in our college days this was a common theme on nights out

I go to watch my team because I obviously love them, and also because I can meet up with the lads, have a few drinks and enjoy myself.

Why the fuck would I want to take my partner with me?

No, thankfully it would never happen, she hates football so it remains one of my escape routes.

Probably take her to about 10 games a season, she enjoys football (sort of) and I'm slowly dragging her away from glory supporting Chelsea.

The only problem is the other end of the deal is that I tolerate X factor, strictly etc.

My wife comes to matches sometimes and I like it when she does. I enjoy spending time with her so don't really get the escape route thing.

I took an ex to a few games, notably Millwall. No wonder her mum hated me
