What's the weather forecast for Wrexham, will the game be on or will I be able to absolutely lose my shit with Wrexham, since this seems to be the ritual response. Asking for a friend. :woot:

Nothing more expected, the snow should be cleared off the pitch, and the usual schtick for cancelling games is the surrounding area is too dangerous for Joe Public, therefore I reckon it should be ok

GAME ON

We never seem to get anything at Wrexham we even managed to lose against them with 10 men last season or the year before.

We generally always seem to have a goal disallowed though.

Goes both ways though. I think Wrexham's record at the Shay since they have been in this league has been pretty dreadful. I don't think they have beaten us in a league game.

So I expect the home team will continue to dominate this game.

Definitely not their Cup Final though, remember that.

Never was, never will be. As our most frequent opponent over the past 100 years, familiarity has rather given rise to a measure of contempt. I can quite understand how competition with Rhyl Town and Colwyn Bay over there in North Wales, a geographical area almost as big as Calderdale, can give a former Football League club an illusion of majesty, I mean, we look around us at Brighouse Town and Hebden Bridge Rovers and think, "'kin 'ell, how did we get to be so MASSIVE?", but even I know we're not that big a deal outside our own Metropolitan area. Remember that, chuck. :ds:

given that we only play them once in a blue moon in the invitational welsh cup that we dont get invited to (akin to the West Riding County Cup) then our illusion of grandeur is justified. You also forgot the other big dogs in North Wales, Chester FC, although that is only a more recent rivalry.
