I'd expect several changes after the defensive horror show against Morecambe who had 6 efforts on goal and scored 4. :emb: The underground heating is on and the club say they envisage no problems with the match going ahead. I'd expect Bloomfield to be replaced in midfield for Marcus Bean who plays well together with O'Nien and Gape, The Beast will probably start but any 2 of 5 players will start up front with him it's a big question for Ainsworth but i'd start Nick Freeman and Nathan Tyson who both came off the bench on Saturday. Should be a close game 2-1 or 3-2 either way as we rarely keep a clean sheet. :ffs:

Well I went yesterday. Minus 5 it dropped to!

Big fan of the thai green curry that Wycombe served up in their bar before the game, and the random as fuck, WWE music they played at half time!

As for the game itself it was a poor watch. Wycombe's main tactic was tobypass their midfield and to hoof it up to Akinfenwa, shortly after they established this, we followed suit, making for a really bad game of football.

2nd half it changed when we brought Kyel Reid on. Allowed us to play football and get out forwards into good positions. We were having some decent chances and then Bayliss was fouled and McNulty scored a penalty.

Fantastic result, beat Lincoln and we are back in it.

Disappointing result - hoped there would have been a reaction after the Morecambe game, but oh well, we move on.

It seems both Morecambe and Coventry (judging by the reports, I didn't see either game) figured out how to nullify Akinfenwa which left us kind of high and dry. Still, you would have thought other teams had figured out our 'tactic' (if you can call it that) by now and many haven't...

If nothing else, delighted that I didn't freeze my arse off for a glorified bore-draw that we still ended up losing...

The commentators from the bit I heard suggested Coventry let Akinfenwa win the ball and just concentrated on getting the 2nd ball/knock down.

They were very praise worthy of the Coventry full backs too and as Tommy says subs made a positive impact for them too.

Defensively we were very strong last night.

Overall quality from both sides was poor, but in the second half we edged it.

I don't think i've ever listened to a more game bugger all happened until the penalty, our commentators tried hard but you could tell they were bored shitless  It's the first time this season we've lost 2 consecutive games which ain't bad as every team has a blip at sometime this is ours.
