you spend circa £40 to get the official coach down to Stevenage on a Tuesday night on your own when you have work at 8am the next day

Did shit like that in my schooldays. Ipswich tue night lost 5-1
Plymouth tue night lost 3-0
Gillingham sun dinner we won that one.

Other than that i cant recall attending any other rediculous trips on my own on a fucking supporters bus.

You hitchhike all the way to Scunthorpe to watch your team get stuffed 3-0 on a Tuesday
When you go and watch your local side (Truro) play in the Western League Division 1, at a place which no longer has a football team

It sounds like a brilliant idea to drive to Plymouth on a Tuesday and then persuade a mate to drive back because he's working at 4am.

When you spend £60 on a train to Yeovil which takes up your day from 8am-2am, you face a 3 mile walk from Yeovil Pen Mill station to the ground and back and then you decide to get steamed on the train because you've just lost 1-0 to a goal scored in 50 seconds before working an 8am-3pm at work the next day.

Shame I no longer possess the buzz for football that I did then, those were good times.

...you turn down a starkers Katherine Jenkins and her pleas for cunnilingus to attend the Grimethorpe Colliery Welfare versus Rastrick Social Club cup replay on a Thursday night.

Yeh,I've done similar following The Alex.
Sleeping rough on Lincoln Central station after a night game, travelling back after the game on the Watford special after a cup game with them when I was living down south, and plenty more.
