Slightly inspired by HBK's thread.

Best - Stoke at home. That's the only game I've seen us blitz the opposition in the manner that's expected of a team that wants to be among the very best and has spent so much money. A constant barrage of attacking and a superb goal from Martial. It deluded me enough to think things were about to get better.

Worst - Arsenal & Stoke away. Tough to decide which was worse. Arsenal dismantled us quickly and continued to cut through at will all game. But getting tonked by Stoke in a match that was must win felt like the club arriving at a new, permanent mediocrity.

You know it's been a strange season when Bournemouth have won against Chelsea and Man United, and neither go down as our best performance. That'd probably be either the win over Southampton (for a complete back to front 1 - 11 win) or win at West Ham for the attacking / counter attacking brilliance (although defence was ropey).

Worst, probably Stoke at home last month. The only defeat all season I think we'd had a genuine cause to be annoyed at our performance because we really didn't show up. Stoke did a great job on us though. We should take some pride from the fact that a side with the talents of todays Stoke, come here respecting us and focus on disrupting us. Hughes got it all spot on.

Best - Fulham away. Put them to the sword with ease, never seen another performance like it

Worst - Middlesbrough away. Granted, they're promotion contenders, but we didn't fight, no endgame to our attacks and Boro didn't even need to hit second gear.

Best - Liverpool home or Stoke away. 2 excellent all round performances full of confidence scoring some good goals and being very solid at the back.

Worse - Southampton away. Just didn't turn up and 2-0 flattered us.

Worst - Erm. Take your pick... I'll have to go with Villa 0-6 Liverpool though, it could have been 16, never mind 6...

Best - Our only win by two clear goals.... Aston Villa 2-0 Norwich City. And we played poorly that game.

We could and should have won 27 games this season, the only games we didn't deserve nothing was Arsenal, United.

and i am 100% on this.

Been shocking all season, but yes the 0-6 to Liverpool (Only time we've been thumped all season) was woeful to watch.

Best we've played was the first half against Swansea few weeks ago.

Southampton was last season, my friend. If you're going to try and correct someone, check your facts first.

The rest, I grant you, are correct however.
