Where has this guy come from? Whenever I've seen him play he's been exceptional.

He's not been out on loan anywhere or featured in any of England's youth sides, so is it a tale of late development or just a case of making the most of his appearances in Bolton's first team?

Club knew he was good, just kept him in the youth squad (scoring 5 against spurs in the youth cup a couple of seasons ago (which featured spurs new sensation kane), been good since he was 13 and gets better each season, he could be great, and at 19, with heskey and gudjohnsen helping him, who knows. 6 goals 9 appearances

Very good player from what I've seen. Serious technique on the ball and can clearly finish.

Reading put paid to his goal tally last night.....dirtiest side i've seen for a long time, we lost three players to injury within 35 minutes and not a single booking

Strange because earlier in the season we were far too soft, and our problem was not tackling enough, letting teams run at us with ease.

Though at least one of your injuries last night had nothing to do with us, Wheater pulled a hamstring.

and as chaboloah (?), fouled clough from behind (which is itself a bad foul), as clough landed he dislocated his shoulder, and then chab.... pushed down on the young lad as he was getting up putting more pressure on the dislocated shoulder

Just seen the extended highlights of last nights game, have to laugh if you are blaming the Reading players for the injuries.

Obita tries to clear the ball but catches McNaughton. Probably should be a freekick but no intent there, just a mistimed kick.
Wheater pulls his hamstring while stretching to try and block the ball, no contact from a Reading player.
Clough and Chalobah are fighting for the ball fairly, Clough trips up on Chalobah's leg and lands awkwardly on his shoulder. Could see a freekick given for that, but not worth of a yellow card, just an unlucky landing.

There's nothing particulary rough about any of the three injuries. Just unfortunate at the end of the day. If Chalobah was on your team and not challenging for the ball there you'd be disappointed and that was the only one where it got a bit physical.
