Not sure the official Lincoln figure but South Yorkshire Police strike again with their heavy handed approach. Is there a worse football policing unit in the UK? Send Lincoln fans to a designated pub, tell them it's time to head to the Stadium and as soon as they step outside, hand out dispersal orders!

EDIT - Just to add, I don't think they ended up sending the full lot of people they separated back on the train to Lincoln.

SYP are utter bell ends, always have been and they cause issues with fans. Every Yorkshire derby game is the same.

SYP aren’t just the worst in terms of policing football. They must be the most incompetent police force in the country and have been for decades.

Yet another away game where we can't seem to get a figure out of the home team.

We didn't sell it out, which was a bit of a surprise, and I'd estimate somewhere just over 1,000 as I believe we'd sold 700 terrace and 300 seats before the day.

Thanks for that.

So where's the Portsmouth idiot who keeps banging on about Swindon having a better away following than Oxford? Ours is just over 1,200 and their's is just over 800. I also make it that we've travelled further in our six away games than they have in their seven. We also sold out three of the six, so the average could have been higher.

Don't suppose he'll reply, or has he disappeared along with Lance?

We’ve sold out Wycombe on Tuesday 2nd. Guessing it’s 1700ish. Reckon we’ll be just shy of selling out Plymouth too. Shame some of the allocations are low for lots of southern/midlands sides. Our away support is miles better than what it was in the championship

Wow!
Didn't think we'd get that many tickets, good chance we'll sell most of those too.
My daughter and I will be going.
My first trip to your old ground was November 1991, we won 5 1.
We’ve always made the maximum tickets available to clubs who quickly sell their initial allocation. Given how fragile we are at the back you might do that again.

It is given form and a crap journey up the A1
Form relative to expectations has been pretty decent - as it was again last night (with 6 mainly forced changes, including a new keeper). We've had some jolts but still not lost two in a row.

Donny is an enjoyable away day/night in a decent stadium. Look forward to mixing with home and away fans in the Belle Vue Bar and put the world to rights.

Tbf, being in the pub league the capacity for away fans is far less. We’ve virtually sold out most away games.

Nasty looking home attendances though - 6500. Yikes!

Our home average is affected by having already had three midweek games against Crewe, Accrington, and Shrewsbury which has dragged the average down significantly. We've averaged over 8,000 for Saturday games so far, but only 6,000 for midweek games against pub league type opposition. I notice you've only had one midweek game, and that was in August.

We'll have over 8,000 home fans at Saturday's game against Morecambe, who are not the most attractive opposition either.

It's not great, and I don't think it will improve much until we leave the three sided wind tunnel, but it's not as bleak as you paint it. You're currently experiencing an uplift after getting rid of Agent Power, be interesting to see how the home and away figures from both of us look later in the season. I suspect the home figures will be closer and you may improve your away figure a bit, but with away games at Ipswich, Portsmouth, MK, Wycombe, and Charlton still to come, I think our away average will pull further away from yours.

I would swap one thing with you though. I'd take the weather in Kefalonia for what's currently going on outside my window!!!

Not sure our away figure can improve muchly. There’s a few tinpotters with very little space for away fans. Example - Harrogate. Bristol Rivers have sold out their allocation of 570! Our home form is atrocious, though. The feelgood factor that’s brought 9500 to the CG in the last couple of games will start to wear off if it doesn’t improve. But life sans Power is wonderful! The CG purchase is going ahead next year. A roof is going on the Bank apparently - a la Pompey’s. Hope it’s only temporary as it, and the TE, should be demolished. Hope you’re keeping well!

It has been nice today. Sunny and warm 22C.

Yes, well thanks mate, but hate this time of year as the winter draws in. We usually go away for a few weeks about now, and again in January, which gets me through the winter, but not doing it this year, due to the uncertainty regarding Covid. Might take another look at it in January, as this is the longest I've ever been without any proper sun on my skin.

PS: I'm sure I could rustle up a task force to help with the demolition of the Town End!

PPS: Don't think I've ever called a Swindon fan mate before. You've made me feel dirty!!!

End of the day we’re just fans. No glory hunting. Just supporting our local clubs. As it should be.

We’ve both had good days and mostly shite days. It is what it is.

Never change a thing though.

Have you got anything else to say, or is that the limit of your intellect and vocabulary? That's a rhetorical question by the way, don't tax your tiny little brain trying to think of a clever answer.

So you can't accept the statistics as facts, so resort to trying to look the hard man by inverting the letters in a swear word and calling me names, and carry on thinking that you're still right. You're the sort of person who probably still thinks the earth is flat. Very impressive, I await your next intellectual insight with baited breath.........
