How did you manage to get 1200 for Wimbledon?

We got 1014 and when we asked for more we got given an extra 40!
Our initial allocation was 1100 and then they announced an extra 100 was going on sale and the sold out in minutes. Reckon we could have sold out the whole ground tonight

Forgot to say, thanks for the Boardwalk recommendation. A good night was had by all and the barwomen were very complimentary of you rowdy southerners!

Yeah, great gaff. Hope they stay up so we can go again although I think the fact it was a Tuesday night was what made it. Would just be on a train home on a Saturday.

Haha yeah, it was quite rowdy but all good natured.

1200 sold out at Wimbledon tonight, 2700 sold for Sheffield Wednesday this weekend and 4,000 sold for MK on the 12th. Pretty good going by us considering we’ve been a midtable side for 3 seasons

ark at him

We want you to enjoy your time here, but after a quick review of your recent 20-30 posts I suggest you wind it in. Either learn to be less abrasive or find a new home; I don't mind which.

Wigan.

Sold just over 2500 of 2800 allocation for Stoke (FA Cup). Tickets don't go on general sale until Wednesday.
Club requested more from Stoke apparently.

Don't think we took half of that in our Prem days.

Presumably less than 2k home fans at Burton tonight, which seems very low, and concerning, even for them?

Wahey good one that. I've never heard that one before. Did you think of that all by yourself or did you see it one of the 60,000 times it's been posted previously?

TBF since the Americans came in our away support has been impressive, but McKennas appointment and start has proved to be a further catalyst. He's had the best start of any Town manager post-war.

We're still cut adrift when you consider teams games in hand but performances (4W 1L) coupled with six of our next eight games being againt struggling sides I think fans are just pleased to have an outside chance of troubing 5th/6th this season when a month ago we'd all written it off competely.

Be ticket prices surely, in The Championship whenever we played Sheff Wed if was mid to late 30s I seem to remember, I boycotted it as a result despite really wanting to visit Hillsborough, we have always taken low followings there as a result as Wiganers do not like being ripped off.

So I imagine there will be a few much bigger followings this season at £26 which is understandable. Shame we play Tuesday night, would have fancied 3k+ on a Saturday if that many is allowed.

Not really, the only time we had higher prices was from 2016 onwards, we used to be very cheap and Wigan still brought nowt

We have only played you recently for the first time in our history in the league, we had a Saturday late 2014 the only one before 2016 and I was going but didnt when I saw the price, this season first time I have seen it fair when in the same division. Always took decent followings to Sheff United down the years as tickets were much cheaper.

Wolves and Coventry took double that so should be possible

Max away allocation I believe now is just under 8k, though that’s from before the plague.

It's a good thing covid restrictions in stadia were lifted this year. The money to be made from the away fans this year with Sunderland, Sheff Wed, Portsmouth, Ipswich and to a lesser extent a few others could be a real lifeline for some clubs. Especially if we lose a couple of big hitters for next season getting promoted. Of course at times like this it helps if your stadium is way to big for you.

Anyway, looks like we will be taking near the maximum available ticket allocation to Wycombe, 1500 or so I think.

I know it’s only up the road but that’s excellent from Morecambe, can’t be far off 50% of their home average.
