This will be gold if Everton cave in and let Stones leave.
I have read Chelsea are preparing a final £40m bid and I really can't see Billy turning that down if it happens. Turning down the transfer request was about getting the maximum amount possible.

Tradition isn't always a good thing Jonny. Maybe if Everton moved with the times (upgrade that eyesore of a stadium for starters) they'd seea bit of success rather than doing things the old way just because it's tradition?

I doubt it, you're likely younger than me. I recall my nan telling me it was in the 1920s.
