This will be gold if Everton cave in and let Stones leave.

They took their traditional English values over to Singapore in pre-season.

This isn't surprising though is it. Everton were afterall the first English club to play in Europe !

I have read Chelsea are preparing a final £40m bid and I really can't see Billy turning that down if it happens. Turning down the transfer request was about getting the maximum amount possible.

Clapton began competing in the FA Cup in 1888–89, and in 1890 became the first club from Great Britain to play in continental Europe, defeating a Belgian XI.

BANG!

Tradition isn't always a good thing Jonny. Maybe if Everton moved with the times (upgrade that eyesore of a stadium for starters) they'd seea bit of success rather than doing things the old way just because it's tradition?

I doubt it, you're likely younger than me. I recall my nan telling me it was in the 1920s.
